Initially called BERMISAN, INJUSA was originally founded by Antonio Berbegal Verdú in 1947 to manufacture wooden and metal toy lorries, boats and cars, and it was not until 1951 that the company acquired its present name of Industrial Juguetera, S.A. (INJUSA). In 1957, the incorporation of two venture partners enabled the company to embark on a period of expansion and continued growth. INJUSA soon became Spain’s leading manufacturer of bicycles and tricycles, making them from metal tubes obtained from empty oil drums following a curious production process based on rolling them like a cigarette.

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, INJUSA once again positioned itself as pioneering company in Spain by launching a line of large, battery- operated, ride-on vehicles. Such was the success of this product line that INJUSA became the leading manufacturer worldwide in this sector.

In 2003, INJUSA moved 35% of its production to China, but due to rising costs, in October 2010 it was decided to bring production back to Spain and increase investment in R & D.

Today, INJUSA employs a total of 120 workers at its facilities in Ibi, Alicante, where battery-operated electric vehicles, tricycles, pedal vehicles, indoor ride-on motorcycles, hardware and garden toys such as houses, swings and slides are manufactured.

INJUSA exports around 80% of its production to more than 120 countries in the European, Middle Eastern, African and Latin American markets, and the company also has a presence, although to a lesser extent, in Canada.

INJUSA’s main customers include large department stores and chain stores specialising in toys, located in Spain, Europe and other international markets.

Inicialmente denominada BERMISAN, INJUSA fue fundada por Antonio Berbegal Verdú en 1947 para fabricar camiones y coches de juguete de madera, y no fue hasta 1951 que la empresa adquirió el nombre actual de Industrial Juguetera, S. A. (INJUSA). En 1957, la incorporación de dos socios de riesgo permitió a la compañía embarcarse en un período de expansión y crecimiento continuo. INJUSA se convirtió rápidamente en el primer fabricante español de bicicletas y triciclos, fabricándolos a partir de tubos metálicos obtenidos a partir de bidones de aceite vacíos siguiendo un curioso proceso de producción basado en enrollarlos como un cigarrillo.

A finales de los años setenta y principios de los ochenta, INJUSA vuelve a posicionarse como empresa pionera en España con el lanzamiento de una línea de grandes vehículos a batería. Tal fue el éxito de esta línea de productos que hizo que INJUSA se convirtiera en el primer fabricante mundial de este sector.

En 2003, INJUSA trasladó el 35% de su producción a China, pero debido al aumento de los costes, en octubre de 2010 se decidió volver a traer la producción a España y aumentar la inversión en I+D+i.

En la actualidad, INJUSA emplea en sus instalaciones de Ibi, Alicante, a un total de 120 trabajadores donde fabrica vehículos eléctricos a batería, triciclos, vehículos a pedal, motos de interior, ferretería y juguetes de jardín como las casitas, areneros, columpios y toboganes.

INJUSA exporta alrededor del 80% de su producción a más de 120 países en los mercados de Europa, Oriente Medio, África y Latinoamérica. La compañía también está presente, aunque en menor medida, en Canadá.

Entre los principales clientes de INJUSA destacan grandes almacenes y cadenas especializadas en juguetes, situados en España, Europa y otros mercados internacionales.

Implantación y Certificación del Sistema de Gestión de Calidad ISO.

Instalación de las instalaciones de la empresa en México.

· Desarrollo de un prototipo impulsado por energía solar. Además de estudios previos sobre el uso de baterías de níquel-hidrógeno

· Ambos proyectos fueron cofinanciados por el Ministerio de Industria a través del programa PROFIT.

2005

Línea Outdoors.

· En 2005, INJUSA decidió centrarse en segmentos y sectores, con un plan que incluía no sólo las capacidades productivas de la empresa, sino también su experiencia en diseño y desarrollo.

· Diversificación, ya iniciada en los años 90 con la línea hardware.

2006

Implantación del Plan Estratégico INJUSA, y dentro del área de innovación tecnológica, modernización de todo el sistema productivo orientado a la integración de procesos.

2007

Automatización de procesos.

2008

Lanzamiento de una nueva línea: el concepto Transform toy, un juguete que evoluciona a medida que el niño crece. Cofinanciado por el Centro Español de Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial.

2011

Plan estratégico de inversión en eficiencia energética. Modificación de procesos e inversión en tecnologías nuevas y más eficientes para obtener mejoras y ahorros en todo el proceso de fabricación y reducir significativamente el consumo energético de la empresa a través de una mayor eficiencia energética. Ahorro estimado del 30% en el consumo eléctrico.

2012

Proyecto IML 2012: Proceso especial basado en la adhesión de las etiquetas decorativas de un juguete en el propio molde de fabricación para que se fusionen con el plástico, dotando al acabado final del producto de una gran durabilidad y resistencia.Este sistema de fabricación había sido desarrollado para artículos pequeños en el sector alimentario, pero nunca antes se había utilizado con artículos tan grandes y geométricamente complejos como los propuestos en este proyecto, como motocicletas y chasis de coches, toboganes, balancines o casas.

2015

INJUSA obtiene nuevo Certificado CCC que permite exportar sus productos de lujo en China.Abre nueva oficina en México para fortalecer su posición en el continente americano.

2018

INJUSA se posiciona como fabricante de réplicas de juguetes de calidad gracias a acuerdos a nivel mundial con socios como Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, HONDA, Kawasaki, Aprilia y Repsol.

Modification of processes and investment in new and more efficient technologies to obtain improvements and savings throughout the manufacturing process and significantly reduce the company's energy consumption through increased energy efficiency. Estimated 30% savings in electricity consumption.

2012

IML project: Special process based on adhering a toy's decorative labels in the manufacturing mould itself so that they fuse with the plastic, endowing the product's final finish with very high durability and resilience.This manufacturing system had been developed for small items in the food sector, but had never been used before with items as large and geometri-cally complex as those proposed in this project, such as motorbike and car chassis, slides, seesaws or Wendy houses.

2015

INJUSA get new Certificate CCC which allows export their luxury products in China.Opens new office in Mexico to strengthen its position in the American Continent.
