The special feature of MatchaMagic‘s Organic MatchaMatchaMagic, in the sign of energy, stands for green caffeine.Only Tencha leaves from organic farming in Kagoshima and Aichi prefecture are processed for MatchaMagic products.

Matcha is very nutritious and contains a high amount of chlorophyll and amino acids, caused by covering the tea fields before harvest. Only the baby leafs are harvested, steamed and then dried. With Matcha you consume the entire tea leaf. 100% of the valuable ingredients attain their beneficial effects. While infusing the tea leafs, you get only 30% of the water-soluble substan-ces! The rest goes into the garbage, what a pity!

Granite stone mills grind the leaves slowly and gently into finest powder. The processing always takes place fresh to order!Matcha has five times more caffeine than coffee! By coupling caffeine with tannins, the absorption is phased over a longer period. The green caffeine is gentle on the stomach and stimulates without anxiety!

Nishio, Japan‘s largest tencha (Matcha ingredient) production region is in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

Nishio tea fields are covered by the black mesh netting on the top and sides during the harvest season. This is the unique cultivation process which makes Matcha more nutritious than any other teas. One month before harvest Tencha tea leaves are covered by the black mesh netting to gradually block sunlight from the leaves. Shading the tea plants makes the leaves thinner, softer, and a more vivid deep green color as a result, produces more chlorophyll and amino acids. Then only the baby leaves are harvested to produce the highest quality matcha.

The raw tea leaves picked in the tea fields are processed to Aracha at the Aracha plant and delivered.

Only the Aracha whose history of cultivation and used materials have been confirmed will be accepted.

Aracha is cut, sorted and filtered into tea leaves only.

The sorted tea leaves are dried and heated according to the product quality standards

The dried/heated tea leaves are blended and graded according to the product quality standard.

The sampled tea leaves undergo sensory/bacteriological/moisture inspection for each blended lot.

The graded tea leaves are sterilized by steam.

The sterilized tea leaves are milled according to the product quality standard .

Depending on the intended use, milling methods are ranging from stone milling to mechanical milling.

The milled tea leaves are screened to remo-ve defective tea leaves and foreign objects (mesh size: 40-100).

The finished Matcha is filled into a package according to the product specification hygie-nically in the clean room.

All the packaged products undergo X-ray inspection.
