    1. Drawing No. 1.1:

The enclosures for TCP-AH-1 and TCP-AH-4, as submitted under the D-1044 project, are NEMA Type 4.

    2. Drawing No. 2.1:

Remote Start/Stop and Alarm/Fault points for both the Air-Cooled Chiller and Heating Hot Water Boiler are not currently points on the existing Andover system and therefore were not provided for on the ALC System. If required, they would constitute a Change Order Request; please advise. However, note that there did not appear to be an existing underground control conduit run to the Chiller Enclosure. Such a conduit would be necessary and quite costly.

Since there is no existing Status point for Exhaust Fan EF-1, no Remote Alarm Status point is provided. Again, if required, adding a Current Switch input point and alarm programming would constitute a Change Order Request. Please advise.

ALL existing (hardware) I/O points on the Andover System were picked up on the ALC System and an OSA lockout for both the Boiler and Chiller Systems is now provided for in the Sequence of Operation using (Global) OSA Temp. The Sequences of Operation also now include Manual Start/Stop (software points).

    3. Drawing No. 2.3 and Page 3 of 3 of the Sequence of Operations:

All existing hardware points and the existing Sequence of Operation will be “replicated” and documented as part of the O&M Manual and As-Built Drawings. However, a detailed field survey was conducted subsequent to our original Submittal and revealed significant issues related to the current state of the Pool System Equipment and Pool Controller. Sixteen (16) of the twenty-three (23) existing automation points are NOT currently connected and/or operational, including ALL (5) of the OUTPUT points. Therefore, automatic control of any kind is not currently possible.

    PHOENIX CONTACT 5

Coupling relays between the controller and the field The RIF-0 and RIF-1 relay modules are used in particular to reliably couple signals between the controller and the field. As such, power is amplified, voltages are adjusted or signals are electrically isolated.

Relays for signal multiplicationThe RIF-2 relay modules are particularly suitable for applications in which a high number of contacts is required. A feedback signal to the controller can be switched in parallel with different loads.

From the power relay to the small power contactor replacementThe RIF-4 relay modules can be used in small power contactor applications thanks to their high switching capacity. The benefits in comparison with contactors are:• Easy maintenance thanks to

    plug-in capability

    • Operating indicator via status LED

    • Inexpensive

    • Quick installation thanks to bridgeability and push-in connection

From the coupling relay to the small power contactor replacement

You can decide for yourself whether you want to assemble RIFLINE complete individually – or order it ready assembled as a complete module. All components in the modular system

can be ordered individually depending on the application. This also includes relays that are available for a variety of voltages and applications.

Configuration made easy with CLIP PROJECT Configure the terminal strips and components for your control cabinet from Phoenix Contact easily using CLIP PROJECT – and prepare the corresponding markings at the same time. The planning software also supports you in selecting the correct accessories right through to ordering.

With CLIP PROJECT, you can benefit from a consistent process chain. This is achieved by way of the interaction with CAE systems.

SEQUENCES OF OPERATION SINGLE AIR COOLED CHILLER Chiller - Run Conditions: The Chiller will run according to the following user-selectable modes:

    - Off: The equipment will not run and all outputs will remain in their off position. - Manual Start/Stop: The equipment will run whenever the (software point) "Manual" Start/Stop is enabled. - (Global) Outside Air Temperature: The equipment will run whenever the (global) outside air temperature is greater than its user definable setpoint (adj.) of 54degF. - Schedule: The equipment will run whenever scheduled. - Cooling Requests & (Global) Outside Air Temperature: The equipment will run whenever; A definable number of chilled water coils need cooling; AND the (global) outside air temperature is greater than its user definable setpoint (adj.) of 54degF. - (Global) Outside Air Temperature and Schedule or Manual Start/Stop: The equipment will run whenever the (global) outside temperature is above its user definable setpoint (adj.) of 54degF and whenever it is scheduled. Both conditions must be true for the unit to run. The equipment will also run if the "Manual" Start/Stop is enabled.

Chilled Water Pump: The Chilled Water Pump will run anytime the Chiller is called to run.

The Chilled Water Pump will start prior to the Chiller being enabled via its flow switch. The Chilled Water Pump will have:

    • A user adjustable minimum ON time.

    • A user adjustable minimum OFF time.

Alarms will be provided as follows:

    • Chilled Water Pump Failure: Commanded on, but the status is off.

    • Chilled Water Pump Running in Hand: Commanded off, but the status is on.

    • Chilled Water Pump Runtime Exceeded: Status runtime exceeds a user definable limit.

The Chiller will run subject to its own internal safeties and controls.

Chiller Chilled Water Supply Setpoint: The Chiller will maintain a Chilled Water Supply temperature setpoint as determined by its own internal controls.

Chilled Water Temperature Monitoring: The following temperatures will be monitored:

POOL EQUIPMENT All existing hardware points and the existing Sequence of Operation will be “replicated” and documented as part of the O&M Manual and As-Built Drawings.
