My Exchange Experience to Taiwan Chiayi Zhi hong from Singapore Project: Dream Beyond Language Join Local committee: AIESEC CCU in Taiwan
Going for overseas volunteering during my University days is inside one of my check list. AIESEC Overseas Exchange program to Taiwan, Chia Yi, volunteering at Xiang He elementary school is one of the best experiences that I ever had. I have an adventurous personality and going for oversea volunteering exchange not only did I enriched my personal development, I also experience different styles of education system, culture and broaden my social network.
AIESEC Overseas Exchange to Taiwan Chia Yi had enriched my personal development as it allows me to get out of the comfort zone and be self- independent. This challenges my ability to adapt and learn new things in a different kind of environment which I may face diverse situation while still being able to solve the problem. I am always fascinated in experiencing new culture. Living in a foreign country in Taiwan, I have also gain additional knowledge about their country history, the traditions, the food and the people living in that city.
Being able to go for AIESEC oversea volunteering exchange is truly wonderful as students like us get a chance to expose to new surrounding environment, culture and the adaptation to living in that city. Therefore, it is really a great opportunity for students to grow and learn to be more independent in the new living environment. It is definitely a memorable and unforgettable experience.
