Franklin County

Pinwheels for Prevention All Year Long

The Franklin and Union County DCS offices are partnering with the Franklin County CASA office and Community Partners to bring awareness of the Pinwheels all year long.

In April, the Franklin County Elementary Schools will have a Pinwheel coloring contest. A coloring contest will offered in the Union County Schools in the fall. A classroom from each school will be selected as the

winner and given a pizza party to celebrate and talk about the importance and meaning of the Pinwheels.

In May, June and September, a table will be set up at local area events to offer resources, ideas for education, solutions and action to prevent child abuse. Events include:

Union County

Pinwheels for Prevention All Year Long

The Union and Franklin County DCS offices are partnering with the Franklin County CASA office and Community Partners to bring awareness of the Pinwheels all year long.

In April, the Franklin County Elementary Schools will have a Pinwheel coloring contest. A coloring contest will offered in the Union County Schools in the fall. A classroom from each school will be selected as the

winner and given a pizza party to celebrate and talk about the importance and meaning of the Pinwheels.

In May, June and September, a table will be set up at local area events to offer resources, ideas for education, solutions and action to prevent child abuse. Events include:

• Family Fun Day • Canoe Fest • Local school Fall Festival • Activities for the whole family
