Mel’s Diner Server (July 2009-December 2012)As a server I provided service to up to 15 tables an hour while efficiently multitasking. I also assisted in register responsibilities and was promoted to a key server 4 months before I left.

Affiliation and Activities:Sacramento State Public Health Club (PHC) Vice President (Fall 2011 Semester)As VP of the PHC I assisted in creating health campaigns for over 50 members. These campaigns were conducted on the campus in various ways to bring awareness to the student body. As VP I also ordered incentives for members, designed t-shirts, created agendas for meetings and planned future events.

Sacramento State Intern at the WELL (Fall 2011 Semester)As an Intern at the WELL I was responsible for planning and organizing health and fitness events. These events reached up to 1,000 students on campus. I frequently utilized the Microsoft Publisher program to create educational posters/flyers to inform the student body on the latest fitness and nutrition trends.
