Within Yellowstone National Park - SUMMER TRAVEL INFORMATIONThere are five main entrances to Yellowstone National Park. Excellent highways lead to each entrance. This summer there are major road projects scheduled for Yellowstone. Current road information will be available at all entrance stations or may be obtained prior to arrival by calling the National Park Service at (307) 344-2117 or visit nps.gov/yell

Early November through late April, the Park roads and entrances (except the North entrance) are closed to automobile traffic due to snow. However, the Park is open to snowmobiles during the winter.
