The National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), an OPEIU, AFL-CIO, CLC affiliated association, is

recognized as the oldest and most established professional organization in consulting hypnotism

today. Although many of the organization’s more than 17,000 worldwide members speak about the

use of individual hypnotic techniques as an effective tool for helping ordinary, everyday people with

ordinary, everyday problems, Dr. Dwight Damon emphasizes that the greatest rewards of hypnosis

The National Guild of Hypnotists 2016 Convention Exhibition and Educational Conference, the

association’s twenty-ninth annual convention, will be held August 12-14, 2016, at the Royal Plaza

Hotel & Trade Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The NGH Convention is open to all interested

adults. Dr. Damon emphasized, “People from many walks of life become professional consulting

hypnotists. Although the training is demanding, it is not prohibitive. Those who are willing to work

The 2016 NGH Convention will feature over 300 seminars and workshops plus extended coursework

offered during the pre- and post-convention weeks. With more than 200 of these seminars included as

part of the convention registration fee, attendees can customize their Convention experience. This

flexibility, paired with a distinguished 200-member faculty, allows National Guild of Hypnotists

Convention attendees to leave the event equipped with meaningful insights, new skills and reenergized

passion to carry them through the year ahead.

How many people saw this release? Although it is impossible to know the exact number, we can

partially track readership based on the number of media outlets that initially shared our news.

On only its first day of publication, on the release distribution website, our NGH news was viewed 3770

times and was direct emailed to 934 journalists. It was also carried on the Associated Press Wire Service

and on the first day of its distribution, 114 major publications published it in entirety on their websites.

Included among the media outlets to share the release were: Yahoo Finance, the Dallas Morning News, Arizona

Republic, Anchorage Daily News, Ask.com, Business NewsWire Europe, BioSpace, Boston.com, Daily Herald

(Chicago), Idaho Statesman, King5, Kansas City.com, the LA Daily News, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Sacramento

Bee, and dozens and dozens of other news sources including Yahoo Biz.

This media release has been shared and republished thousands of times since then on blogs, websites, social

media sites, and print publications, and we cannot track the numbers of people who have since read it. HOWEVER,

we do know that the total readership of only the original publications that carried it in full or published the title and

a link to the full release is an astounding 79,678,449 regular readers!
