TODAY’S TRENDSQ1 2016 trends observed among True Value shoppers:
• Lawn & Garden was True Value’s best performing product category for the quarter; top sellers included fertilizers, seeds, mulch and bark.
• Organic fertilizers saw an increase of 79%, while top soil and flower seed sales both increased by over 100%.
• Based on research insights, the U.S. lawn and garden market is on the rise as consumers view lawn and garden care as an enjoyable activity rather than a chore.
• This trend is expected to continue as more consumers engage in DIY lawn and garden projects – both indoors and outdoors – suitable for any living space.
