It takes learning and dedication to nurture; it takes sacrifice and hard work. Sometimes it even takes falling off and getting back on. But the rewards are great and the satisfaction of being in that moment has long lasting implications on a human. Many of us fell in love with two wheels at an early age. For others it’s been very recent, but time is not a measure of love. For the team at RSD that love is our primary motivation and we understand that attachment to a machine and the adventure that goes along with it. Motorcycles aren’t just a symbol of freedom, they represent adventure and possibility. The RSD apparel collection borrows deeply from RSD custom bikes. With the subtle merging of motorcycling heritage and modern components, we’ve created the perfect combination of style and function. Our unique materials for main bodies uti-lize waxed and oiled leathers, waxed cotton, heavy duck cotton and PU coated cotton. Our goal was to create a line of riding and living apparel using materials that offer excellent riding comfort and protection without sacrificing everyday wearability, even when you’re not riding.

“AIRBORNE” LEATHER

WAXED COTTON


Our RSD Waxed Cotton utilizes a highly specialized textile treatment that precludes normal cleaning. Just as you wouldn’t wash a leather jacket you shouldn’t wash or dry clean your RSD Waxed Cotton jacket. Wax fabrics have been successfully used for many years without washing. A periodic cleaning with a hose or damp cloth is all that is needed. We suggest using Martexin™ Wax to retreat bare areas which will restore the wax finish.

Our Washed, Waxed and Oiled “Airborne” Leather is our signature leather and follows a unique, exclusive process that ensures a one-of-a-kind supple, yet extremely protective result.1. We start with “A” Grade top grain cowhides that are tanned, dyed, and pre-oiled. The garment is then assembled using all nylon thread, without the linings or trims. 2. The unfinished jacket is washed using our environmentally safe proprietary washing process which softens the leather without losing critical tear, abrasion or tensile strength. Once air dried (approximately 4 days), the garment goes to final assembly for linings and trims. 3. Once assembled, each jacket is then hand oiled and waxed, achieving a unique, “already broken in” custom finish that will wear and age beautifully, without sacrificing protection.

We use only the finest available hides for our leather and require all our suppliers to be REACH compliant, plus AZO and PCP free. Each RSD leather jacket receives customized treatment and handling which gives every piece its unique, one-of-a-kind finish, with an “already broken in” feel that usually takes years to achieve.

If the item after inspection is deemed non-repairable, RSD will repair or replace the item. Only the original purchaser of this product is covered under this limited warranty. This warranty is non-transferable. Original proof of purchase is required.

How to return:Please return your product to the authorized retailer from whom you purchased it from, along with your original receipt. Upon inspection the retailer at its discretion will determine if the garment is eligible under our limited warranty. If deemed warranted, the retailer will return it for inspection where at our discretion the item will be repaired or replaced. This limited warranty does not cover changes to the color of the leather/textile, scratches, tears, or other damage caused by normal wear and tear, accident damage or improper care or cleaning.

Most RSD jackets have armor ready pockets, built to ride, but still retain everyday comfort. We partnered with Forcefield™, experienced armor specialists to create RSD’s lightweight, 3-layer low profile armor. All CE™ certified.

ON ANY SUNDAY KURT CASELLI FOUNDATION KTM 450November 7th, 2014 marks the release of On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter – hitting theaters nation wide. With its highly anticipated debut, Red Bull North America wanted to do something special to promote this iconic movie. Dana Brown and Roland Sands decided it would be cool to build a custom bike that would take us back to the original 1971 classic, On Any Sunday and bring those nostalgic days to modern life. This bike build could have easily taken the path of flat tracker, hill climber or road racer; but with the tragic loss of offroad racer Kurt Caselli last year at the 2013 Baja 1000, we all decided that a “desert sled” build was in order. We contacted KTM North America and they were on board to have us build the bike and help tell Kurt’s story, and raise awareness of the Kurt Caselli Foundation. The Kurt Caselli Foundation was formed in Kurt’s honor, to protect and support the lives of off-road riders through a three-part mission that encompasses safety precautions for riders before, during and after their racing careers. Caselli was one of the most amazing offroad racers in the world and proved it on every level, on and off the track. What is known is that Kurt was an amazing person, full of life and forever grateful and appreciative of everyone around him who helped him live his dream.
