As a way to get more youth involved with Limousin cattle, and with our junior membership on the rise, the MLBA felt it a good time to start a Futurity show program. What better way to do this than through this sale with so many high quality heifers available.

Any heifers born September 1, 2013 through December 31, 2014, and have paid nomination fee, are eligible to participate in the futurity. The nomination/entry deadline is May first.

There will be a guaranteed payout of $1,000 to the winner, $500 to 2nd place, and $250 to 3rd place.

Also if you as a breeder have any heifers being shown by juniors, you can enter them into the futurity for a $50 nomination fee. For a complete set of rules please check Missourilimousin.com.

The big footed and capacious heifer calf has a great show look at this early age, and the mid October female has an interesting pedigree that brings even more opportunity in the future. This female has generated excitement for her young donor dam. The daughter of KAJO Responder 120R will soon be at a more leadership position within the Pinegar donor herd. Years of selective breeding has been invested into the heifer calf that sells as lot 9, and she adds much diversity to the Road to Tulsa Time sale line up.

AUTO Bridgett 288B is an exciting heifer calf from some of the pinnacle genetics available in the Angus and Limousin breeds. The Lim-Flex female is sired by EXAR Denver 2002B, that set the record at 340,000 for a 1/3 semen interest. The outlying Angus sire that has paced the breed for performance, milk and carcass merit. Of course her dam is AUTO Peyton 206Y, the popular show heifer that dominated the show circuit for two years. AUTO Peyton 206Y, in turn, is the daughter of DHVO Trey 133R from the former National Grand Champion Female, Carrousels Pina Colada. This royal family lineage has been among the most coveted genetics in the entire breed and beef cattle industry. Years of dedicated breeding and selective mating have culminated in this remarkable show heifer that sells as lot 10. The Lim-Flex genetic pool is greatly enhanced by extraordinary females such as AUTO Bridgett 288B.

AUTO Opportunity 459B is an interesting genetic merging of two great individuals, BSAR Opportunity 9114 and Carrousel Peaches 4330P.
