Overview This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are engaged to manage the work of others or to add value to or review management practices. Their role may be in any industry or organisational setting. INTRODUCTORY SAFETY & HEALTH REPRESENTATIVE
Overview The Introductory Safety and Health Representative Course is accredited by the Commission for Safety and Heath WA. Consisting of 5 modules, this course prepares the SHR to assist employees and the employer to embrace a proactive, safe and healthy working environment.
SHR’s may elect to complete on the job activities and assignments after the course which would enable them to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning towards the Certificate III in OHS or alternatively, to upgrade to the Certificate IV in OHS.
Learning Outcome Students will have a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical and managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their workplace safety responsibilities.
