VIPA teleservice modules offer access

The VIPA teleservice modules are de-

signed for all modern communication

systems.

Talk2M – the cost free VPN solu-

tion

Talk2M is the first safe service for re-

mote maintenance. With globally distri-

buted servers Talk2M provides a highly

reliable, safe and scalable solution for

remote maintenance of machines.

Industrial Ethernet

VIPA EthernetSwitches with 5 or

8 Ports Unmanaged are entry-le-

vel models which support the IEEE

802.3/802.3u/802.3x with 10/100M,

full-/half duplex and RJ45 ports with

automatic MDI/MDIX recognition.

The switches are for temperature ran-

ges of -10° up to 60°C. They can be

easily installed on a DIN rail and in dis-

tribution cabinets.

For PROFINET networks there are Ma-

naged PROFINETSwitches with 5 or 8

ports available.

Fieldbus

The PROFIBUS repeater family con-

sists of advanced, flexible, and robust

network components for PROFIBUS

DP installations. This allows the imple-

mentation of long spur lines with many

users and network structures with

star-/tree-shaped segments.

The compact basic PROFIBUS repea-

ters are ideal for setting up a reliable

PROFIBUS network. Thanks to the

12 MBps core they can be cascaded

without limit and increase the RS485

signal power.

Easy installation

and handling:

Connection of any Ethernet device

without having to configure the gate-

way. The machinery doesn`t have to be

stopped during the configuration of the

VPN router.

Firewall-friendly outgoing

connection:

Outgoing internet connection via the

factory LAN via port 443 (HTTPS) or

UDP port 1194. The firewall can be in-

stalled easily and trouble free whereas

there is only access to the machinery

and not to the factory LAN.

Connection of older

serial PLCs:

Support of larger PLCs – RS232/
