Soft Wrist is a portable, lightweight and newly designed sphygmometer for the modern elderly. Soft Wrist is bendable, lightweight and boasts a user-friendly interface that mundane, clunky medical supplies of the past don’t offer.

Timely Reminders: While not in use, the Soft Wrist doubles as a small clock and its alarm feature reminds the patient to measure their blood pressure in a timely manner.

User-Oriented Display: The Soft Wrist’s display screen adjusts in size depending on the user’s wrist size to provide a custom fitted visual experience.

Intimate Usage: The Soft Wrist was uniquely designed to be used with ease by the patient without the assistance of others.

Market Analysis Problem Finding Character Mapping


Designed for the younger group of middle-aged, Soft Wrist is considered as a solution of easy carrying sphygmomanometer. The weight is light and the Volume does not occupy space. AUO's flexible display technology as the creative origin, gone through user-centric rule, takes this technology to another level that helps to solve the inconvenience of hypertensive patients nowadays.

Why Flexible AMOLED ?

- AUO Flexible Amoled, the creative origin behind Soft Wrist, combined with the latest blood pressure measurement technology, provides a comfortable experience for the user while being. - Appropriate UI design of the display (color) can reduce the power consumption.

Regarding UI/UX expertise, I didn't have enough training from school, so I decided to go to one of the most famous UI/UX design company-AJA, in order to get more familiar with user experience oriented design. And consequently, not only did I learn how to do UI/UX design, also did I learn how to propose to customer.

Longman Dictionary - For the sake of the lanuage learner, the app is designed with functions of grouping word card and integrated information of mobile and desktop. From design research to the sponsors of the app prototype, the project also provided the future simulated expansion of the new types of business models.

Joyful Learning is a cleaning set designed for children doing their daily or weekly chores. The aim of this cleaning set is to delight kids and help develop good cleaning manners while children are young. Instead of considering children as abstract thinkers in cleaning, the concept behind this cleaning set is to break the task down into a sequence children can follow, and accept the results being less than the "perfect" job an adult would do.

Sweeping LearningWhen we sweep, we gather the dirt into a target area, but the target is abstract. Using the U-shaped guidance as auxiliary which is removable from the bottom of the dustpan, children learn how to sweep into a target area. As children develops more confidence and skill in wielding the broom, children can gradually understand how to use the broom and dustpan together.

Wiping LearningThe dotted lines on the front side of the rag help children fold the rag to the correct size and shape before wiping. On the back side of the rag, eyes like graphic on the corner of the tablecloth make the tablecloth looks like frog or sea snake while it is wrung.

Getting young children involved with household tasks can be the perfect opportunity to give them a helping role in the family. Contributing to the family in this fashion will teach children self-discipline, enhance their self-esteem and build a sense of pride through achievement. Joyful Learning allows the children to establish a sense of achievement while enjoying the fun of doing cleanup work. Children can build up their responsibility and confidence. They will eventually share household cleaning work and develop independence and basic living skills as well as caring for the environment and developing excellent character.

Octopus like mop makes wringing a mop an interesting task.The auxiliary rope at the bottom of the bucket can be pulled out for defining the target area which makes the learning of mopping the floor easier. Carved scale inside the bucket is easily visible from above when children fill the bucket with water. These guidances are useful for breaking the task of mopping floor down into a sequence children can follow.

Green office has not been implemented, while digitalize files is now a cost-saving trend. By observation, after printing the wrong file or document which is incompletely proofreaded as a negligence resulting in repeated printing. According to research, preliminary printing document preview, the first printing for checking, is a massive waste in the office.

Celfcare is a mobile app assisting diabetes suffer from self-control and providing automatic receives healthy amount of measuring instruments. The blood glucose monitoring provides the corresponding clear instructions, for helping patients to control diet and follow the diet principles, in order to achieve stable blood sugar circumstance.

Design Elements

Use white display panels, exhibition tables and matte pink canvas, space design and main visual style are both balanced.

Space simulation

Google Sketchup was the modeling tool, which was my first time used with, to perform the relationship of space and exhibition main style, and to facilitate the planning for audience moving lines.

Objects production

The exhibition tables were a performance of the primary visual style, a sense of dynamic organic.

Shapes of tables were drawn randomly, and different from each others with different heights, and partially covered, the design is to form a ladder-like showcase, thus the audience can clearly see every pieces of works.
