time, and decided to keep coming back. Some of our members have gotten job offers from a fellow member, made a connection that has lead to new professional partnerships, or been able to negotiate a higher salary based on the ASCE salary survey. Personally, three of my closest friends are people I met through ASCE involvement, and the experiences I have had in ASCE have allowed me to advance my career to the place where it is now.As we continue to grow and expand our branch, there are plenty of opportunities for new and exciting things. If you can, I strongly encourage you to volunteer to join us for an event, or to help out with a committee that interests you. You never know what might happen!
