Core 40 with AHD Requirements

• Combines rigor and relevance;

• Prepares students for two year or four college, technical school, or apprenticeship;

• Students gain marketable skills and, in many cases, college credit;

• Student can earn both the Core 40 with Academic Honors and the Core 40 with Technical Honors Diploma.

• Complete all requirements for Core 40, and

• Earn grade of “C-” or above in courses that count toward the diploma, and

• Have a GPA of “B” or above, and• Complete a career-technical program resulting in 6 or more credits, and

• Earn 47 total credits

• Complete TWO of the following – one of which must be A or B:

A. Industry based Certification

B. Earn 6 pathway dual high school/college credits, transcripted & from priority list

C. Any of the Academic Honors Diploma options

D. WorkKeys: Level 6 on Reading/Info & Applied Math, Level 5 on Locating Info
