Saints Set ApartWe are students. We are athletes. We bleed Blue and Gold.
to be an emmanuel saint means to represent the college to the fullest, to hold oneself to a
higher standard, and to want the most from one’s four years on campus. today’s saints are
doing this in ways that separate them from the rest.
It is the mission of the Emmanuel College Athletic Department
to foster the development of collegiate student-athletes both
on and off the playing fields.

the division iii philosophy is about discovering
opportunities, developing passions and dedicating
oneself to the full range of interests available. the
emmanuel college experience is no different. we
support our student-athletes by combining strong
athletic competition and high academic standards.
today, emmanuel is the second largest athletic
program in the great northeast athletic
conference (gnac) with 17 varsity sports and
nearly 300 student-athletes. it is a program that has
experienced tremendous growth in the last decade
and has earned recognition on the national stage.
it is also a program that prides itself on shaping
individuals, building character and preparing
student-athletes for life beyond their playing days.
what does it take to be a saint? as you will see,
it’s about setting yourself apart in the classroom,
in competition, and by taking full advantage of an
experience that will resonate for a lifetime.
Saints in the ClassroomWe are eager to learn. Willing to explore. Wanting to be something more.
today’s student-athletes earn the privilege of wearing a saints uniform by first
challenging themselves in the classroom, on campus and in the community.

Saints for LifeWe will remember these moments. The competition. The accomplishments. The camaraderie.
in the end, donning the Blue and gold is a special experience for our student-athletes. one
that we strive to make the best possible. one that fosters a strong sense of pride after their
playing days have ended.
Dan Campagna ’07 was a three-sport standout during
his time as a saint, including serving as the starting
goalkeeper for the men’s soccer team for four seasons.
He continues to promote the saints by serving as
emmanuel’s assistant sports information director and as
assistant commissioner for media relations for the gnac.

in 2009. the college updated its home field in partnership
with the city of Boston, adding a new synthetic turf field,
rubberized track, practice facilities for track and field
events, lighting, scoreboard and stands.
Today’s student-athletes are the faces of the
Emmanuel College athletics program. A program
that continues to grow in strength and numbers
and allows us to develop them not just as athletes,
but as the next generation of leaders.
Our hope is that their experiences as Emmanuel
student-athletes will forever have a special place
within them, but won’t solely define them. Our
goal is to produce individuals who will ultimately
carry with them the values attained and lessons
learned as Saints.
a gift to emmanuel college athletics will impact
the future of emmanuel college. it will help us
to continue to provide an experience that sets
our student-athletes apart. and prepares them
for success beyond it.
