Open only to legal residentsof the following counties in California: Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los AngelesCounties, who are 18 years of age or older as of July 28, 2011. Void whereverprohibited by law. Employees of Scripps Media, Inc dba Ventura County Star,31st District Agricultural Association “Ventura Fair”) (collectively, “Sponsor”) theirrespective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and theimmediate family members (spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother,grandfather, brothers, sister, children and grandchildren) and/or those living in thesame household of each are not eligible. By participating, entrants agree to bebound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor.

TO ENTER:1) Beginning 12:01 AM Eastern Time 07/28/2011 through 11:59 PM EasternTime 07/29/2011 look for an official entry form in Camarillo Extra!, Conejo ValleyExtra! and Simi Valley Extra! on July 28, and in the Oxnard Extra! and VenturaExtra! on July 29, 2011. Mail your entry form in a hand-addressed, business-sizeenvelope (#10) with first-class postage, to: Ventura County Star, VC Fair Family4-Pack, PO Box 6007, Camarillo CA 93011. All entries must be received by 5:00PM on 08/2/2011. Limit one entry per person.

method of entry. No mechanically reproduced entries of any kind permitted.Illegible and incomplete entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late,mutilated, postage due, misdirected entries or entries not received. In the eventof a dispute over who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed to havebeen submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account identifiedon the online entry form. The authorized account holder is deemed to be thenatural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet accessprovider, service provider, or online organization responsible for assigning e-mail

RANDOM DRAWING: Winner will be selected by random drawing on or about08/03/2011 from all eligible entries received. Decisions of Sponsor are final on allmatters. Winners will be notified by phone/mail and will also be published inEXTRA! on August 4 & 5, 2011. Limit one prize per person/household address.Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

PRIZES: (2) Two First Prizes - each winner will receive (4) four tickets VenturaCounty Fair taking place at the Ventura County Fairgrounds (10 West HarborBldv.) (ARV: $48). Passes are valid for entrance to Ventura County Fair between08/3/2011 and 08/14/2011 and all other expenses incurred are not included.Tickets are not valid for events requiring separate admission. Prizes consist of

only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. No substitution ortransfer/assignment of prize by winners permitted. If by reason of printing orother error, more prizes are claimed than the number of prizes set forth in theseOfficial Rules, a random drawing will be held to award the advertised number ofprizes in the relevant category. Under no circumstances will more than theadvertised number of prizes be awarded.

All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winners. Allfederal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Potential winners (orparent/legal guardian if potential winner is a minor in his/her state of residence)may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of

Liability/Prize Acceptance Form, which may require social security number,postmarked within 10 days of the date on notification materials. Noncompliancewithin this time period and/or return of any prize/prize notification asundeliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate potential winner maybe selected by random draw from all remaining eligible entries. All winners mustproduce picture or some other form of proper identification to claim any prize.Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with prize of equal or greatervalue. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor to usewinners’ name, voice, statements, image and likeness for purposes of advertisingand trade, in any medium, without further compensation, unless prohibited bylaw. assume all liability and agree to hold Sponsor harmless for any injury or damagecaused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use orredemption of any prize. Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, damaged,incomplete, illegible, faulty, or incorrect transmissions, incorrect announcementsof any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind, any damage toany person's computer related to or resulting from participating in the onlineportion of the promotion, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed,incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user’sability to participate in the sweepstakes whether caused by computer, technicalor human error.
