How to Register
On-Line Registration 1. In order to register through On-line registration, you will need a main contact client number, a family PIN number and a credit card. 2. If you do not have a main contact client number and a family PIN number, please call (480) 503-6200. 3. Visit www.GilbertRecreation.com to register On-line. Payments can be made with a Visa, Master Card or American Express
Touch-Tone Registration If you do not have a main contact client number, individual client numbers and a family PIN, please call (480) 503-6200. 2. After calling Touch-Tone registration, (480) 503-6225, follow the recorded prompts to register for your selected classes. 3. Your registration is not complete until you enter your credit card information for payment. Payments should be made with a Visa, Master Card or Ameri-can Express.
Mail-In Registration After selecting the camp you wish to register for, then: • Complete the registration form on this page. • Only one person per registration form. Forms may be photocopied. • Enter the class code along with other required information, i.e. name of camp. • Be sure to sign the assumption of risk waiver in ink. • Registration fees must be submitted with registration form. • Your registration form is an application; it does not assure place-ment in a class. • If your camp choices are full, you will be placed on a wait list for that camp.

Cheer Camp focuses on stunting, basic floor gymnastics and a spirit
routine. Moves are broken down making them faster and easier to
learn, helping you look your best. Cheer related crafts and other
fun activities will be incorporated and showcased on the last day
of camp. Active wear and comfortable shoes (tennis or dance shoes) are required. Bring a water bottle and energy snacks for breaks. 7-10 YEARS

CHEER CAMP– Ages 7-14
Join us in this Computer and Sports Camp where we expand your child’s mind by
exploring Reading, Math, Typing, and Technology Concepts all on a laptop we
supply. Then slim their bodies down by introducing them to sports programs like
SoccerTots, Lil Sluggers Baseball, SlamDunkerz Basketball, & Blitz’Em Football.

COMPUTER AND SPORTS CAMP -Ages 3-6
A recreation based co-ed basketball clinic aimed at providing instruction on the
fundamentals of basketball. Develop skills such as shooting, dribbling and
offensive/defensive play with emphasis on teamwork. Conditioning incorporated
into workout to improve speed, agility and strength. Focus on beginning/
intermediate levels.
Athletic shoes are required. 7-10 YEARS

BASKETBALL CAMP– Ages 7-14
CHESS CAMP-Ages 5-12 Let Your Children Out Of The House This Summer Break With Chess Wizards! Campers
will learn the game of chess with experienced teachers from Chess Wizards At the end
of the camp all of the students will participate in a mini chess tournament. Once the
tournament is finished, all campers will receive a trophy, a Chess Wizards T-shirt, a
chess board and a folder with all of the puzzles that they have completed throughout
their camp experience.

CRAFT CAMP– Ages 6-9
Come join us and keep cool this summer at these themed craft
camps! During the week we'll explore different mediums such
as beads, mosaics, paint, clay, re-cycling and much more to
create projects to coincide with the theme of the week .
All sessions run Monday– Thursday.

SUPER FARM CAMP! Children will learn how to be a real farmer while having a blast and
making REAL childhood memories. Opportunities: hold and feed
chickens, collect eggs daily, groom & ride a horse, care for, feed,
& even milk a cow! Bottle feed newborn calves, hand feed & groom
goats, donkey, &
sheep. Forget the
toys the kids have
had their eyes on &
buy them a memory
they will keep &
cherish FOREVER.
Each participant
must bring a bottle

Participants will ride daily; learn Western riding,
proper haltering techniques and grooming skills, such
as: clipping and braiding, how to bathe a horse,
cleaning, and proper care of the tack. The class will
end with daily feeding of the horses.
Students under 18 must have parent/guardian sign
a liability waiver at first class. Bring a water bottle each day and wear a heeled shoe for riding.

This three day camp will cover as many aspects of
the game as possible including all of the pre-shot
fundamentals; grip, aim, stance, posture and basic
swing. Chipping, pitching, putting and driver swing
instruction will follow. After a week of well
rounded instruction they will know how to practice
properly and be ready to tackle the golf course in
the future.

It’s a week of all things animals with a special guest speaker coming in
with some critter fun and facts.
Arrg that’s right matey we are off in search of the hidden treasure and
playing lot’s of pirate games.
It will be a week of science experiments, fun and games, and a special
guest science presentation and rocket launch.
YEEE YEE HAW!!! Come on down to the OK coral
for a hoot-in good time. Cowboy and cowgirl games to enjoy all week long.

variety of activities for your child to have an opportunity to participate in.

Kidz Kamp Overtime allows you to add an extra hour to your Kidz Kamp session. Either from 8-9am

productions, including programs for Disney and Nickelodeon. Feel like a movie star as you walk the red carpet at your very own movie premiere in a

Summer is a time for fun and exciting adventures! PEE WEE KAMP is designed with just this in mind. We’ll get your lil one movin’, groovin’ and grinnin’ in a safe, fun, nurturing environment. Drop off your pee wee to participate in a gamut of age-appropriate activities such as listening/
sensory stations, music & movement, arts & crafts, dramatic play, manipulatives, games, cooking and so much more! Campers will experience socialization, purposeful play and
teamwork to improve their cognitive, emotional and physical well being. Unique weekly themes are incorporated to keep the campers engaged and create the atmosphere of fun and learning.

Science camp is the ideal opportunity to engage children in the ―FUN‖ of science.
Science camp combines innovative science projects, creativity challenges and
games. Our goal is for every camper to leave with inner science-confidence &
outer self-confidence. This class will be sure to keep your child busy while
learning this summer. Camp will be held at the Community Center.
Love to sing? Play instruments? Travel the world? This fun-filled, creative
camp explores vocal and instrumental music from around the world while
working on geography for an action-packed week of singing, rhythm, and
music-making. Children will work with Phoenix Conservatory of Music
staff. The final day of camp will bring all the artistic elements together
for a wonderful family performance.
Students are required to bring a brown bag lunch daily.
