Option E – Customer Rewards
$500 Customer Rewards• Customer Rewards provides a unique
$500 account that can be used only at the selling dealership when customers purchase or lease an eligible Chevrolet or GMC vehicle– Drives small business customers back
to the selling dealership– Designed to increase customer
retention and loyalty– Customer receives rewards card with
selling dealership name and phone number on the front of the card
Option E – Customer Rewards
$500 Customer Rewards• Customer Rewards card can be used on
– Service– Parts– ƒLabor– GM Accessories
• Customers can redeem rewards at time of vehicle deliver or in the future on:– Maintenance– Repairs– Tire Alignments and Rotation– Oil Change– GM Accessories
When a Customer Selects Option E – Customer Rewards
Activation is Simple
Log onto Business Choice Claim Website Enter an Option E Claim
Same claim process as all other options
When entering Option E claim, this activates the $500 on the Customers reward card account
Clicking on submit will generate a certificate validating that the account has been activated
Provide your customer with the certificate
Certificate and Customer Reward Cards
• Certificate will be produced at time of activation for Retail and Business Central Dealers– Retail Dealers: Certificate should be
provided to customer at time of vehicle delivery
• A personalized Customer Reward Cards will be printed on demand and sent to your customers 7 after claim is approved
– Business Central Dealers: Will receive personalized Customer Reward Cards and brochure to provide to the customer at time of delivery
• Refer to next slide to assign account number from cards in inventory
• Certificate can also be provided to customer at time of vehicle delivery
Assigning Customer Rewards Account Number
• To assign a Customer Rewards Account number during activation in the Option E claim process, check whether you have a card to hand to the customer:
– If you select YES: Assign a card number from the inventory of Customer Reward Cards/Brochures that are in your dealerships inventory. This is the number that will appear on the customer certificate.
– If you select NO: An account number will automatically appear and generate on your certificate.

Important Information!
Step One – Go to Redemption Website for Dealers

Step Two – Sign Into Website
• ENTER USERNAME AND PASSWORD
USERNAME: Enter the first 6 characters of the customers account number located at the bottom of the Customer Rewards card or certificate This 6 character username is unique
to your dealership and will be the same 6 digits for all customer reward redemptions
PASSWORD: Enter your 6 digit BAC
Step Three – Access Customer Information
• ENTER CARD NUMBER
The card number is the customers account number located at the bottom of the customers reward card or on certificate This 16 character customer
account number is unique to each customer
Need to find a customers account number? Click the search button on upper
right side of the screen Enter the customers first/last
name or company name
Step Four – Enter Transaction
• ENTER TRANSACTION
Redemption Amount Repair Order (R.O.) Number
or Reference Number VIN (optional) Description
All fields are mandatory with the exception of VIN
The description contains 30 characters and will appear on your BARS non-vehicle billing statement for your reference This will be helpful in
reconciling your open account
Step Five – Print Receipt
• SAVE AND PRINT RECEIPT
The “Save/Print” button allows you to save your changes and print receipt for your customer

Q How do I activate a Customer Rewards Card?A Activate Customer Rewards Card by filing a GM Business Choice claim on the claim website
located on GlobalConnect, similar to the process currently being used to file claims for options A, B, C and D.
Q If the customer already has a customer rewards card, is purchasing a new eligible vehicle and selects option E - can they have the $500 applied to their existing account?
A Yes, you can enter the existing account number during activation, if the customer wants Option E - $500 applied to their current account.
Q If the customer already has a customer rewards account, is purchasing a new eligible vehicle and selects option E – can they receive a new account in addition to the account they already have?
A Yes, you can issue a new account number during the activation process and the $500 will be applied to the new account.

Q Can the $500 be applied toward a new vehicle purchase?A No, the $500 is only good on parts, service, labor and GM Accessories.
Q What happens if a customer does not take delivery of the vehicle after customer rewards is activated?
A Dealers are required to cancel claim in the GM Business Choice claim site.
Q Who should I contact with questions on eligibility?A GM Business Choice Program Headquarters at 1-888-566-6393.
Q Does the Customer Rewards card expire?A Yes, two years after the date of vehicle delivery date. The remaining balance will be
sent in a check to the customer.
