Value of FCPC Membership: What’s In It For You?
Interaction. Insights. Influence.
Interaction
When you join FCPC you get enhanced access to key players in the industry, helping you to maximize your personal and/or business development opportunities
Relationship-building is all-important in business. Decision-makers look to the people they trust to provide them with the products and services they need.
FCPC Member CEOs rank networking throughout their organizations as a key priority and benefit. As an Allied Member, you are able to be part of the dialogue and are in a position to communicate the value you bring to the table and what differentiates you and your company from your competition.
Insights
Your customers expect you to know as much about the industry as they do. By attending FCPC workshops and conferences, you are able to stay abreast of the latest industry intelligence and news. Our Weekly Digest bulletin provides further relevant insights with up-to-the minute industry news and how the industry is responding to external factors like legislative changes and retailer demands. This is critical information to keep you plugged into the priorities of your customers and what is affecting their businesses.
Influence
FCPC is highly regarded by its members as the largest collective voice in Ottawa and provincially to make sure policymakers understand regulation implications on businesses and what they bring to market.
As an Allied Member, you are part of the designated organization that works on behalf of your customers to ensure government officials have accurate, relevant information on which to base informed policy decisions. This minimizes risk and maximizes profitable growth for all members of the supply chain, including your company.
Similarly, trade decisions undertaken by retailers ultimately have an affect on your bottom line as another player in the supply chain. FCPC proactively advances the interests of its members to the retail sector and negotiates common approaches to key industry challenges. This translates into solutions that address retailer needs yet offsets higher costs and decisions that may have negative ramifications for manufacturers and, therefore, businesses that supply them with products and services.
