• Group Administrators (teachers) have additional editing capabilities within the channels within their admin group.

• Where students are only able to use the edit function to change titles and descriptions on there video files and in fact only see their own files. Group administrators are able to able to use the edit function to share video files across any channel within the group and are able to see all video files within their group.

• This is achieved by entering the video management function as follows;

1. Select the video file to be shared then click edit button to open edit window;2. Select the channels that you wish to have access to the file.

Note: It is the responsibility of the administrator to obtain approval from the author prior to sharing and this may be accomplished by making this a requirement of entry to the course group.

Steps to share video files

1. Select the video file for sharing.

2. Click edit button.

3. Select the channels to have access to the video file.

Broadcasting or Uploading into all Channels

Administrators (Teachers) are able to broadcast into and upload to all channels within their administration group.

This is achieved by selecting the chosen channel or channels as per the general user guide.

To limit the amount of bandwidth used it is advised that administration carry out all uploading and broadcasting into their own respective advanced channel and then use the share function to distribute to chosen student viewers.
