To ensure that plant personnel:• protect the plant’s design basis through effective engineering, plant operations, and SSC maintenance (maintaining CM equilibrium).• understand the importance of operating the plant’s SSCs within their established margins.• recognize the need to maintain plant equipment to be capable of meeting their design requirements.• recognize what constitutes an unauthorized modification to the plant to avoid compromising the plant design. • understand how to establish the quality of facility configuration information they are using to perform tasks.
