Evolution to 3G The Kineto UNC is designed to evolve with the GAN standard Motorola, FT/Orange, Telecom Italia Mobile and Kineto Wireless have been instrumental in creating a new Work Item in 3GPP GERAN for the nextgeneration GAN standard This is to support 3G CS/PS over the GAN Up interface 3GPP GERAN approved the GAN Enhancement Work Item on November 17, 2006 Approval is currently planned for the GERAN #34 meeting, May 2007
