Virtues for Weeks 8 & 9
The virtue for Week 8 is Assertiveness. Being assertive, means being positive and confident. You are aware that you are a worthy person with your own special gifts. You think for yourself and express your own ideas. You know what you stand for and what you won’t stand for. You expect respect.
The virtue for week 9 is Orderliness. Orderliness is being neat and living with a sense of harmony. You are organised, and you know where things are when you need them. Solve problems step by step instead of going in circles. Order around you creates order inside you. It gives you peace of mind.

Cricket Gala Day
On Thursday 21 November, Eddie, Haydan, Trey, Matty, Axel and Kelsey from the Hawks, and Max, Will, Mason, Myles and Cohen from the Bluebirds travelled to King Park at Raymond Terrace for a Cricket Gala Day. The boys were put into teams with students from other schools and played 3 games of cricket. Throughout the day, the students were smashing 4s and 6s, taking wickets and stopping runs with their fielding. A special mention has to go to Haydan for his classic one-handed catch. All up everyone had a great day. They were very well behaved and most importantly exhausted by the end of the day.
Thank you to the parents for transporting the students to and from the venue and supporting them throughout the day.
Squash Champion
Congratulations to Eddie for his first place in the Port Macquarie ‘Beach n Boasts’ squash competition.
