Transcript of 2_ C&E Facilities
Each of Saskatoon’s convention and event
facilities is enticing for its own reasons and all
are easily accessible to attractions, services and
downtown. From TCU Place, your delegates
are just seconds away from downtown hotels,
restaurants and shopping. At Prairieland Park,
they’ll have 240,000 square feet of convention
space under one roof. At Credit Union Centre,
they’ll enjoy a major trade show, sporting
event or live entertainment. At the University
of Saskatchewan, they’ll be among a cluster of
world-class research groups and institutes.
We leave it up to you to decide which facility is
perfect for your event.
Credit Union Centre is a multi-purpose arena facility that has expanded its seating to accommodate over 15,000 people. With moveable seating risers and telescopic seating, the Centre can convert its arena level into 70,000 square feet of exhibitor space and also has an additional 20,000 square feet of space on the Concourse level.
Free onsite parking can accommodate approximately 4,000 vehicles. Transit services can be arranged from downtown. For conventions, Credit Union Centre’s professional catering staff can serve groups from six to 6,000. For trade shows and exhibitions, several concession service points are conveniently located throughout the facility.
In addition to being a venue for large trade shows and conventions, Credit Union Centre plays host to big-ticket concerts, rodeos, ice shows, circuses and other events of a similar size. Hospitality suites are available for most events, accommodating up to 16 people. Credit Union Centre presently has 50 Private Viewing Suites with one suite available for rent on a per/event basis for hosting.
