The Government of Catalonia continues to support Barcelona Games World attending its 2nd edition with the Catalan Arts Video Games umbrella stand. In this booklet youwillfindtheinformationaboutthe28indievideogame companies attending our stand, which demonstrate the variety and relevance of the sector in Catalonia. If you want more information on a particular one, please do not hesitate to contact them directly or us for further assistance. ICEC staff is also present at the stand to attend and advice professionals based in Catalonia on issues suchasinternationalisationandfinancing,aswellastoprofessionals from other countries willing to establish contact with Catalan video game creators and developers. The actions for the internationalisation of the digital industry are part of our Ministry of Culture’s Digital Cultural Plan, which aims to promote programmes, instruments and actions in order to place the Catalan video games as one ofthemostdynamicsectorsinthedigitalcontentfield.

To this end, with Catalan Arts we strengthen the presence of Catalan companies and creative works at international fairs and key professional events. We also offer all kinds of useful materials and resources to professionals based in Catalonia seeking to develop their projects internationally, as well as to professionals from other countries looking for artistic productions and willing to establish contact with their creators and promoters.
