11

Floor Grilles, Types NRA and NRB / Installation Instructions

The grille core is laid loose and can be easily removed. Volume control damper (if ordered) is fixed with the grill subframe. In order to control air volume, i.e., prior to adjusting the damper setting, the grille core must be removed.

The grille core is fixed by special locks. Be-fore the grille core is inserted, the locks must be placed to the centre. Then move the locks towards the grille edge and turn them into the position shown in the figure by using stick Ø 3 mm.

The grille core is fixed by special locks. The fixing procedure is the same as mentioned above for floor installation.

Grilles - Installation Instructions

12

Floor Grilles Type NRE / Installation Instructions

Depending on the f loor construction and its thickness, there are two possibilities for NRE type grille installation:

Installation type U1

Dimensions of the 30 mm thick f loor plate are equal to the grille length. The f loor plates are supported by special sectional grid. The opening, wide H1 = H + 1 (mm), has to be cut out of the f loor plate (along the whole length). The grille is than placed on the same section as the f loor plate.

Installation type U2

Dimensions of the 30 mm (and 40 mm optionaly) thick f loor plates are not equal to the grille dimensions. Floor plates lay on special vertical fixing anchors. An opening with dimensions: L1 x H1 = (B + 1) x (H + 1) has to be cut out of f loor plate. On the rear side of the f loor plate the galvanised equalizing steel beam L 30 x 30 is fastened by screws. The grille is then placed on these sections.
