This week we had so much fun learning

Spelling: words with long ai spelt with ei, eg: sleigh, vein,

veil….etc

Words with long ai spelt with ey, eg: hey, they, survey,

….etc.

Literacy: Bossy verbs, and how to read instructions and

steps for recipes.

Identifying adjectives

Comprehension: “The dragon’s cold” & writing the end

of the story.

Reading : Flat Stanely.

Material covered:

1– Living things and non living things

2– The 7 life processes

3– The classification of animals into vertebrates and Inverte-

brates.

4– Introduction to the classification of vertebrates.

Objectives:

1. Differentiate between living & non-living things using

knowledge of life processes.

2. List the 7 processes of living organisms.

3. Define the terms of the seven life processes

4. Identify the meaning of sorting why we sort things into

groups.

5.Sort out animals into vertebrates and invertebrates.

Combining Text & Graphics

In this week the students studied and practiced the

following:

1) Launch Microsoft Publisher 2016.

2) Choose the page dimensions.

3) Insert page borders and choose the scheme colour for

the border.

4) Insert a word art and format it.

5) Insert shape and fill it with colour.

6) Search for an image on internet.

7) Copy the image and paste it on the publicant.

8) Format the text wrap of the images.

9) Add a picture style for each image.

10) Insert a text box, and

format the text.
