7145th Reunion Highlights Los Altos High School, Hacienda Heights, California, class of 1963, held its 45th Reunion on SAyurday, August 30th, 2008 at Yorba Regional Park in Yorba Linda, California.

We had so much fun celebrating our 40th Reunion at Yorba Regional Park in 2003 that we decided to once again have our 45th Reunion at this park; however, it was a much warmer day than when we had our 40th Reunion. Even though it was a warm day, all who attended our reunion enjoyed reminiscing with these former classmAyes:

Instead of a catered picnic lunch as we did at our 40th reunion, each of our attending former classmates contributed something for our picnic-style lunch. As we caught up with one another, we munched on fried chicken, Subway sandwiches, potato salad, and all sorts of picnic munchies. To quench our thirst after eating our picnic fare, we drank our share of sodas and water.

As we wound down our 45th reunion, we awarded prizes to those who had traveled the farthest to attend our reunion, the couple who had been married the longest amount of time, the couple who had been married the shortest amount of time, and the former classmate who had the most children or grandchildren. One of our reunion attendees jokingly suggested that we award a prize to a former male classmAye who had had the most wives.

Good things must always end and so it was with our 45th reunion. We tearfully said goodbye to one another, promising to keep in touch, and promising to see each other at our 50th reunion.
