Lovely Abercrombie & Fitch watch with in stainless steel and grey dial. The watch has Arabic numerals and second counter at 6 o’clock. The luminous are good on both numbers and hands. On the back case comes the number 1502. Inside the back case comes “Stainless Steel – Abercrombie & Fitch – Made in Switzerland” and number 415589.The movement is a Swiss with inscription “15 jewels – Switzerland – Abercrombie & Fitch Co – AXF”. The AXF code is assigned to the US importer. In this case it is for Abercrombie & Fitch Co., Heuer. It comes with a brown lizard band.

The company Abercrombie & Fitch was founded in 1892 by David T. Abercrombie and had two locations, one in Chicago and one in New York in a small waterfront shop in lower Manhattan. In 1900 Ezra Fitch became partner. Their love of the outdoors made the company produced top-quality gear for numerous outdoor sports, such as fishing, racing, hunting, and many others. Abercrombie & Fitch carried everything that any sportsman would ever need. In the mid1940s, Heuer began producing high-end chronograph watches for the brand with three register chronographs in rugged and waterproof cases. These new Heuer chronograph watches for Abercrombie & Fitch became some of the most popular and useful tool watches, as fishermen and racers were actually using these watches to help them in their sport. In addition to chronographs, Heuer manufactured watches for Abercrombie & Fitch with special features, such as an alarm or indication of a second time-zone. On his first visit to the United States, at age 23, Jack Heuer worked as an apprentice at A & F’s New York City store, working as a salesman — in the watch department, of course. Some of the iconic names are the Seafarer, Maregraphe and Solunar.
