- Kitchen. The kitchen will have an oven, counter space, a living wall and be designed in such a way that cooking classes could be taught. Ponds. The two ponds will have the ability to purify water through oxygenation and water-cleaning plant life.Water to be used for composting tea and other applications. Seating. The seating should be available to persons enjoying the kitchen as well as a place for classes to gather. Compost.Worm bin seating in two locations, and pond for compost tea both stack functions. The neighbor with the house right next door to the garden has agreed to allow for a rainwater catchment system to be installed when he next re-roofs his roof.

- Things to keep in mind when choosing a site for the oven: Is it close to the kitchen?Where will you prepare the foods that will be baked? Is there a water source near by? This is necessary not only for the mixing of cob but also for fire safety. Is the ground level or slightly sloped? You do not want to build on ground which has too much of a slope. Will the oven be built under a pre-existing roof or overhang? If not, a roof will need to be built to keep the cob structure as dry as possible.Where will the firewood be stacked? The wood needs to stay dry too! What are the fire hazards?
