The Apostles’ CreedUnison: I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
*In Praying the Lord’s Prayer: Elder Linous Pride
*In Singing the Doxology:BPH #592 “Praise God, from Whom All Blessings

broken in our lives. As God’s beloved, let us pray together:
In the Prayer of Confession: (Unison)
Mr. Cleveland Smith, Jr.
Merciful God, part the veil that blinds us to our unity. When our families hurt and betray us, forgive us when we do not find ways to let go of our pain and work for the healing of all people. When we feel abandoned by those we love, have mercy on us when we do not trust in the power of forgiveness and seek to bring peace and reconciliation. Forgive us O God, when we try to keep your love for ourselves. Help us know the joy of living in unity, even with those we would rather live without.
In the Assurance of Pardon:
Mr. Cleveland Smith, Jr.
Do not be distressed or angry with yourselves, for the God who reconciled Joseph and his brothers, can surely reconcile us. God's mercy extends to everyone. Rejoice and live in unity!
People:
Thanks be to God! Amen.

Psalm 133:1-3
1 How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! 2 It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. 3 It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
