cogitate or to think deeply about something, is a series of sculptures using items we find dirtying up our public spaces, the things we carry around in our daily lives that are usually discarded. Gum, cigarettes, plastic bags, and any other handheld items ranging from a newspaper to a receipt. The Physical text within each of these sculptures work together to create an impact on the people using the public space. The animated documentary film pulls these together also shows the accessories or supplementary items in the public space as they lay. The animation is hand written text relaying scientific facts and collected data concerning which ever item is showing on the film.

CULTURALODDITY

This project is dedicated to claiming and sharing the leading edge of organic, spontaneous trend informa-tion. Following national and international trends of fashion, dance, music, and cultural odditys and/or movements. Re-lentlessly pushing the limits in both rare content and obscure fashion, “cultur-alOddity” takes a deeper look into five of the subculture trends from around the world. I am stillfinding and sharing the diamond among a sea of “must-view” cultural movements through my blog from personal and civic input. Ultimately we are all connected by some strand of culture and trends are their visual in-terpretation. Hunting down style culture from all genres was and still is constant fuel for my eyes and ears, and hope-fully extends to those who wish to learn more about a world of raw trends, wait-ing to be nurtured and defined.
