After careful consideration of all the representations and the overall impact of the escalating municipal debt, Eskom has taken a decision to proceed with the contemplated interruption and/or disconnection of bulk electricity supply to Thabazimbi Local Municipality. Eskom hereby notifies all parties who are likely to be materially and adversely affected that the contemplated interruption of bulk supply to Thabazimbi Local Municipality will commence on 21 September 2017. The contemplated interruption of electricity supply will result in temporary scheduled disconnection at the following times: Monday to Friday Saturday and Sunday 06:00 – 08:00 08:30 – 11:00 17:00 – 19:30 15:00 – 17:30 Notwithstanding the above proposed indicative times for the interruption of electricity supply, Eskom may, upon 15 calendar days’ notice, disconnect electricity entirely and indefinitely should the electricity debt situation not improve.
