Scott Morton-Johnson, 45, was called home by Our Lord January 7, 2012 at his home in Kearny. He was born July, 10, 1966 in Flagstaff and was medically retired from Asarco. Scott’s passions were motorcycles and guitars. He was a gifted musician who had a calling from God for praise and worship. He was a member of two bands, The Sect and For the Cross. His strong spirit, the warmth of his smile and his love of God served as a source of encouragement and inspiration to others and will be treasured in the hearts of all who knew him. Scott had been a youth group leader at Fellowship Baptist

and was instrumental in leading many of the local youth to Christ. Scott will be dearly missed by all but his strength of character and youthful spirit will never be forgotten. Scott leaves behind a daughter, Chelsea Morton-Johnson; fi ancee, Lynda Dickey and her children Cheyenne and Zander; sisters, Linda Morton, Celana Lai and Yulana Low; brothers, Jack Morton, Jeff Low and Mick Low; father, Bobby Johnson; and mother Artie Smits. He also leaves behind family of his heart, Bobbie and Carl Davis and their children Courtney and Andrew; Andy and Diane Williams and their sons Max, Blaise and Dave; and Mike and Tim Tucker.

Stephanie Rachelle Ward, 19, born April 28, 1992, was granted her Angel wings January 11, 2012. Though she was only here for a short time, she lived for every moment, loved with her whole heart, and touched the lives of so many people. Stephanie had a place in her heart that was dedicated to special needs kids, sports and mostly her family. Stephanie was an explorer with Queen Valley Fire Department since she was 14 years old. She took pride in helping others never missing a chance to serve food, play with a kid and listen when you needed a shoulder. Stephanie leaves behind her loving mother, Kathryn

Seibert “Butch” Hogarth passed into the arms of the Lord on January 3, 2012 in Elko, Nevada, surrounded by his family after a hard fought battle against esophageal cancer. Butch was born August 30, 1942 in Moscow, Idaho to Seibert and Louise Hogarth. The family moved to Arizona in 1946 and eventually settled in the old copper mining town of Ray. As a young boy Butch developed a love of sports, especially baseball, leading him to become a star player on the Ray High School baseball team. Butch graduated from Ray High in 1961 and joined the U.S. Army in 1963. He served two tours in Vietnam before fi nally being based at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, where he met his wife Brenda. They were married August 26, 1966 in Huachuca City and settled in Kearny where he worked at Ray Mines and the couple raised their children, Brian and Wendi. In 1975 Butch’s life was changed forever when he accepted Christ as his savior. From then on his leadership

in church affairs became the foundation of his life. He was a Sunday School director who truly believed that Bible teaching was a call from God and that dedicated and trained teachers an essential element to church ministry. As a deacon he cared deeply for his church family, lending a helping hand wherever needed. The family moved to Elko in 1989 where Butch worked for Barrick Goldstrike as a rotary driller, retiring in 2004. In retirement he enjoyed working at the Spring Creek and Ruby View golf courses and made many friends there. Butch was also a VA van volunteer, driving veterans to the hospital in Salt Lake City. Butch was preceded in death by his parents, brother Freddie Hogarth, and nephews Mike and Matt McCroskey and Joe Deen. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda of Elko; son Brian (Andrea) Hogarth of Elko; daughter, Wendi (Ben) Knowles; grandsons, Benjamin, Jared, and Jacob Knowles of Salida, Colorado; and sisters, Virginia (Clyde) McCroskey, Marlene (Ronnie) Deen, and Shannon Owen of Kearny; and numerous nephews and nieces. A memorial service was held January 9 at Parkway Baptist Church in Spring Creek, Nevada with interment in the VA cemetery in Elko.

Walter’s memorial will be on Saturday, Jan. 28, 1 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jeho-vah’s Witnesses, 805 Griffi n, Winkelman.


By Mila Lira Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) recently installed new signs that indicate portions

of Highways 177 and 77 are designated at scenic highways. The designation is also marked on roadmaps.

The application to request the designation was submitted to ADOT by the Copper Corridor Economic Development

Coalition (CCEDC) and was approved by the state transportation board of directors. The designation was part of an overall

improve the economic conditions in the region. They meet the third Friday of each month at 8:30 a.m. at the CAC Campus in Aravaipa.

By Georgie Wood([email protected]) During the time when so many more people were hiking to the Aravaipa Canyon Primitive Area that had been established in January of 1969 by the Secretary of the Interior, and after we had sold our Wood Brothers Panorama Ranch in 1970 to the Nature Conservancy (TNC), a hiker to the creek, who had parked his car in our front lot, ran over one of our dogs, “Cloud”, an Australian Blue Heeler. Visiting us at that time was conservationist Ted Steele of Tucson who was an Arizona Director for the Defenders of Wildlife (DOW). When Ted Steele saw this happen, he was distressed enough to want to beat on the man with his cane, but he didn’t. Our poor Cloud had to be “put down”. In 1971, several groups of hikers were caught in the canyon during a fl ood and had to wait it out in a cave at the mouth of Virgus Canyon. That cave is called “Apache Kid Cave” because it is supposed to be where the Apache Kid was born. The hikers shared what food they had, and some were packed out horseback by Cliff and his brother Fred Wood after the creek went down.

Georgie Digs ... A California lady wrote us in May of 1971 that during her hike she had found it very disturbing to see the presence of cattle in the creek, the cattle “chips”, and the many fi re rings left by campers. Also disturbing to her was the presence of a church group of about 30 people, counting the children and their advisors, and the children yelling and screaming. Her letter, a long one, was full of suggestions, probably because she happened to be a member of the Sierra Club. It was in 1972, the year that Cliff’s and my son, Neal, turned 16 years old, when Cliff and Neal opened our front door when someone knocked on it. Standing outside was a man and woman who said that they couldn’t fi nd the woman’s clothes that had been left on a rock by the side of the creek. She was dressed only in a bikini and a towel. After TNC’s mortgage on the Panorama Ranch had been assumed by DOW in April of 1972, and when our son, Neal, was in his last year of high school

in Kearny in 1974, he took a horseback ride up the creek with the DOW Preserve Ranger, Larry Coak, and a very attractive, blonde lady, Anne La Bastille, Ph.D., of the Offi ce of International and Environmental Programs, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C. After Anne arrived back in Washington, she wrote us a very nice letter and sent us a copy of what she had written about her trip to the Aravaipa, in which Neal was written as a young wrangler on that ride. I still don’t know if Neal was kidding or not when he told us that he had asked Anne if she wanted to go skinny dipping in the creek!

A January 5 public notice regarding the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds incorrectly stated such funds could be used for community facilities such as parks, health clinics, libraries, senior or youth centers. Parks are not an eligible item for CDBG funding. The county will be holding its public hearing for use of CDBG funds at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at Pinal County Administration Building A, Board of Supervisors Hearing Room in Florence.

By Nolberto Waddell The Hayden Lobo basketball teams boarded the bus on Tuesday, Jan. 17, for the trip to Miami High School and three games against the Vandal basketball teams. The girls’ basketball game was all Lady Vandals but the boys’ contest turned into an ugly affair when the offi cials had to stop the game twice in the second half. A short-handed Lobo JV team had no answer for the taller and hard playing Vandal JV. The Lobo players did not give up easily giving the Vandal JV

a tough contest for most of the game but the numbers, team members, soon caught up to the Lobos running out of gas in the fourth quarter dropping the game with a score of 39 to 60. Every member of the Lobo JV team scored led by the nine points from Rodney Ortiz. Gabriel Ramos and Jacob Lopez hit for eight points apiece with Steven Butler getting seven points. Robert Sandoval had three points with Aaron Lagunas and John Silva rounding out scoring with two points apiece.

Lobos win two; Lady Lobos lose to Miami The Lady Lobo team on the court next had trouble fi nding their scoring touch in the fi rst half hitting for only ten fi rst half points while the Lady Vandals were running and gunning for 28 points when the fi rst half buzzer went off. With the Vandals’ gym fi lling up with their fans and the noise intensity picking up for the game, the Lady Lobos also picked it up a bit but it was not enough as the Lady Vandals kept keeping them at bay to win the game with a 34 to 53 score. Yvonnah Gonzales, battling hard under the boards, led Lobo scoring with 12 points. Melissa Islava, getting close defensive pressure from the Vandals, fi nally came around in the second half to score 11 points. Devin Estrada, playing a tough defensive game, had six points with Melinda Marinez and Clarissa Chavez each getting two points. Kyana Garcia rounded out Lobo scoring with one free shot. The varsity game between the Lobos and the Vandals

turned into an ugly affair when the Vandal team realized they would not be able to match the Lobo intensity at both ends of the court. It was a close fi rst quarter with the Lobos ahead at the buzzer ending the period, 10 to 9. The Lobo half court pressure started to take effect on the Vandals turning the basketball over to the Lobos on several occasions in the second quarter to give the Lobos a 25 to 17 lead when the fi rst half came to an end. The start of the second half had the Vandals trying to get the Lobo players in trouble and with the help of a vocal and sometimes rowdy Vandal crowd, it almost worked. The offi cials stopped play midway through the third quarter when the crowd started to yell undesirable comments at the team and at the offi cials and after a school offi cial warned the crowd about the comments the play on the court started to get rough causing another stoppage of play when a Vandal player head-butted the

Lobos Matthew Manriquez almost causing a riot if not for the Lobo coaches calming the situation and keeping the Lobo players in control. The Vandals’ tactic worked, cutting the Lobo eight point lead down to three points at the end of the third quarter. Despite a warning from the offi cials after a few minutes into the fourth quarter, the rough play still continued with pushing and holding and taunting from the Vandals players. The Lobos kept their cool and continued playing their intense brand of basketball holding back the Vandals to win the game with a 54 to 49 score. Julian Gomez, the focus of most of the taunting and rough tactics by the Vandals, responded with 19 points to lead Lobo scoring. Adrian Ochoa, playing a tough defensive game when not being held, scored 13 points. Marcos Gonzales came through with one of his best games at both ends of the court scoring ten points and the Lobo player that the Vandals really wanted to get out of his game, Matthew Manriquez, responded with a great defensive game and many assists and scored six points. Rodney Ortiz came off the bench to give Lobo starters much needed breaks scored four points. Roman Padilla scored only one point but had a good defensive game. Gabriel Encinas scored one free shot. On Friday, Jan. 20, the Eagles of Imagine Prep came to Lobo Gym for the return game against the Lobos and the game turned out much like the fi rst game they played. The Eagles could not solve the Lobos half court pressure turning over the basketball many times for easy Lobo baskets in the fi rst quarter giving the Lobos a 19 to 4 lead at the end of one quarter of play. The Lobo substitutes were in

the game for most of the second quarter and they also played good playing the Eagle starters to a draw, 12 points to 12 points, to protect the Lobos 15 point lead at the end of the fi rst half. With the Lobo starters back in the game to start the second half, the Eagles fell further behind when they could not get the basketball past a tough playing Adrian Ochoa who kept rejecting shot after Eagle shot, causing many fast break opportunities for the Lobos. At the end of the third quarter, the Lobos led by twenty-four points, 45 to 21. The Lobo subs had most of the playing time in the fourth quarter again playing the Eagles starters even to win the game with a score of 61 to 36. Marcos Gonzales continued his good play leading Lobo scorers with 13 points. Julian Gomez hit for 12 points and a trio of Lobos, Adrian Ochoa, Gabriel Ramos and Matthew Manriquez, each had eight points. Roman Padilla scored six points, Rodney Ortiz hit a three-pointer, Matthew Martinez had two points and Derrick Benavidez hit one free shot. With a possibility of still making the section tournament, the remaining Lobo and Lady Lobo games will be critical and the Lobo coaches and players are asking their fans to come out to the games and support their effort to get into the section tournament. The Lobos have one game this week, a contest against the tough Tiger teams from Globe High School on Thursday, Jan. 26. Here’s hoping the Lobo fans respond to the Lobos request for support and respond with good sportsmanship in their vocal support of the Lobos. Games start at 4 p.m. with the JV teams on the court followed by the Lady Lobos at 5:30 and the varsity contests at 7 p.m.

By John Hernandez The Apache Junction Fun Van is rolling along the Copper Corridor with stops in Superior, Kearny, Mammoth, San Manuel and Oracle. The Fun Van is funded by First Things First and is a free program offered to families with children five years and younger. The purpose of the program is to encourage early literacy in children. It has been found that children who are read to frequently develop stronger reading skills and have a better chance of being a successful reader upon entering school. It helps to build the child’s vocabulary and identifies reading as a pleasurable activity. The Van teachers use the curriculum from Parents as Teachers. Offering support to parents in their role as the first and most

important teacher in their child’s life is the Fun Van goal. Parents as Teachers instructs organizations and professionals on how to work with parents during the critical early child development years of 0 – 5. The curriculum is designed to promote school readiness and the healthy development of children. The Fun Van program includes a variety of activities for children to experience and learn from. A light snack is also provided. The Fun Van has been stopping at your local libraries. Deadlines! Deadlines! Pioneer Days 2012By Rosalind Padilla In the early years of Pioneer Days, all activities were held on Alden Street. There were not many buildings then. One of the first dances was held in the structure which was to be Postel’s Drug Store (now the Kearny Health Mart); other street dances were held in front of the GKI because that and the businesses that were in the building that is now the ARC Training Center were the mecca of Kearny uptown. Vendors were all local individuals, clubs and organizations and they lined the street or set up in the empty dirt lot that is now occupied by Gordon’s. The carnival was set up in the parking lot by ARC and extended into what is now

Railway Park until the SRP power lines were put in place which brought about Pioneer Park. People wore western clothes and it was not uncommon to see employees in their western clothes especially in their long Pioneer dresses. This custom was taken seriously by all residents as there was a penalty for not wearing western clothes. A jail was placed uptown and manned by one of the local organizations with bail set that had to be paid by the person jailed. The beard contest was also very popular. For several years we have been asked to revive the Beard Contest. There is still time to drop by the Chamber office to have your “before” picture

taken. Gary Hill was one of the previous chairpersons and even won a prize one year and graciously said yes when asked to revive this former contest assisted by his wife Joan and Charley Poarch. Queen and Junior Queen contestants have already had their first meeting. Copper Basin Idol hopefuls, your auditions are coming up soon. Wednesday, Feb. 1, is the final deadline for all registrations except for the Citizen of the Year nominations which are due Feb 8. Remember that the Governor has suggested that Arizona residents volunteer 100 hours within your community to commemorate Arizona’s 100

years. There are many ways you can do that, one is to help with Pioneer Days. The second and fourth Thursdays in January and February the Pioneer Days committees meet in the Little Gallery of the Church of the Good Shepherd at 7 p.m. Get involved and join us. When ever the Chamber holds a major activity such as Oktoberfest, Winter Wonderland, Pioneer Days and others our goal is to bring in crowds which helps local businesses. It is good to see young ladies who grew up in the Copper Basin Area managing the newest business in town, Jackson Hewitt. Congratulations to them; drop by and say hello and welcome.


By Vicki Clark The Grand Opening of Jackson Hewitt Tax Service was held last Saturday in Kearny complete with a ribbon cutting ceremony, hotdogs, drinks and drawings. The business, located at 332 Alden Road next to Cosmic Coffee, offers a full range of income tax preparations including assisted refunds with no out of pocket costs. Owner Dick Richards has 10 other locations across rural Arizona and said they prepared more than 7,000 returns last year. He and Kearny Manager Dawn Bray have been with Jackson Hewitt for 10 years. During a current promotion you can get your taxes prepared at the Jackson Hewitt office and automatically be entered into several drawings including

$50 worth of Scratch Tickets at the end of January, a $75 Visa Shopping Card at the end of February and $100 cash at the end of March. An end of the season drawing will also be held for all clients for an Xbox Kinect. Bray also manages an office in Globe and a location in the Globe Wal-Mart. She said the business enjoys being involved in the communities it serves and this year is sponsoring a baskets for bucks program at both Copper Basin area high schools. “We donate 50 cents for each basket made during home varsity boys and girls games,” Bray said. “A check is then presented to the school at the end of the season.” They will also be sponsoring a bases for

bucks program during the softball and baseball season this spring. “Each run scored by the varsity team will be worth $1,” Bray explained. Other community projects included helping with the Salvation Army toy drive and Angel Tree program. In addition the service also offers discounts to Asarco and area schools’ employees. “We look forward to helping our clients get what they deserve,” Bray said. “We’ll ask the right questions so that you’ll get every deduction you deserve and the biggest refund possible.” Bray added that she hopes the business does well here. “We’d like to keep it open all year,” she said. The main four categories for donations match four popular cactus plants that children in our service area will know. The plants will be painted on a wall in the classroom/waiting area, and permanent plaques with the names of donors will be mounted next to the appropriate cacti. The saguaro designation represents a donation of $500, an ocotillo will signify a $400 gift, the prickly pear equals $300, and for $100 you can have you name next to the barrel cactus. Donations in any amount are welcome! Forms for contributions are available at in SaddleBrooke at Suite L in the Minit Mart Shopping Center on SaddleBrooke Boulevard, or on our website at www.community-outreach.org. These forms have additional information about the building and its

location. This campaign will end June 30 so that plaques can be made in time for the fall 2012 grand opening. As the primary program of SaddleBrooke Community Outreach, Kids’ Closet provides new wardrobes for children (Headstart through Eighth grade) in the fall and again in the spring. During the 2009-2010 school year KC issued 3,488 wardrobes to 2,268 children. The new clothes make a tremendous difference in the quality of life for these children through improved school attendance, better grades and overall self-esteem. These students come from 20 schools located from Catalina to 100 miles northeast to San Carlos.

Remembering Stephanie Ward

By Steve YurekPastor, Kearny SBC Last Thursday I was invited to assist with the Candlelight Vigil at Ray High to say good bye to Stephanie Ward. A very special thanks to Kayla Ann Allison Madjerec for all her efforts with this. As I was sitting in the auditorium with over 200 students I was overcome with the feeling of sadness. Yes…sadness! We were all gathered to honor the life of Stephanie Ward, but more important than this was the feeling of sadness I had for the 200 students in the room that were missing the reality of how short our time is here on Earth. Why would a loving God allow such a terrible accident to happen? I was reminded of the parable of the Prodigal Son. The key fi gure in this parable is the Father. I prefer to call it the Parable of the Loving Father. I think Jesus is teaching us the God of the Universe is like the father in this story. It’s not enough to believe in God; you must understand the nature of the God Jesus came to introduce.

We can learn three important things about God. • A GOD WHO REGRETS YOUR REBELLION Clearly, the Father in this parable represents God. He is a loving Father who will let you walk away from fellowship with Him if you desire, but it breaks His Fatherly heart when you do. The God of the Universe has a message for you today. He is saying to you, “I love you, so you are free to go.”• A GOD WHO RUNS WHEN YOU RETURN God’s Word tells us while he was still a long way off, his father saw him. Then he was fi lled with compassion and he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. • A GOD WHO RESTORES YOU WHEN YOU REPENT Have you wandered away from God? Are you willing to say, “Father I have sinned against heaven and against you?” Are you willing to return to Him? If you are, He has a message for you. He is saying, “I’ll treat you as if you never left!”

Like the Prodigal Son, do you know someone that might feel too embarrassed to come back home? In Luke 11:15-32 the Bible states: “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was fi lled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.” It goes on to say, “…this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.” This is the Love that God has for each and every one of us. Our God is like a Lovesick Father, Who does not hold our sins against us, but throws a party when we come to Him for salvation and forgiveness! It’s not enough to simply believe in God, even the devil believes in God. We must trust what Christ has done on the cross. Taking the sins of us all and paying the ultimate penalty – death! Jesus is not only the Son of God –He is God in person. The Bible tells us in John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world that he gave his one

and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” The Good News is Jesus is the God of the Bible - full of love and mercy. Some people think the most important question of life is “Do you believe in God?” But a more important question is “What God do you believe in?” There are many religions in the world that present many differing pictures of God and they all may contain a little truth. A stopped clock is right twice a day, but a broken clock is worse than no clock at all because it gives you misleading information. My prayer is that each of us in Kearny might realize life is short – death is certain and God Loves You! When was the last time you celebrated the life of your son or daughter?What do you think? Ticket includes admission to the six

homes and two buildings on the tour. Those purchasing a ticket will also receive a goody bag with discounts to local mer-chants as well as a coupon for two for one admission to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, that alone is a $7.50 value. The chamber is hosting other events as part of the home tour but you won’t need a ticket to visit: “Art in the Park” at the Besich Park, the antique show at the Magma Club, or history lectures with Jack San Felice and Sam Lowe at the Superior Senior Center. San Felice will

be speaking about silver mining in the Old West at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lowe will be speak-ing about Arizona Outlaws and other curiosities at 1 p.m. both days. The Mata Ortiz potters from Mexico will once again be fi ring pottery at the Besich Park both days at noon and three o’clock. They will be display-ing and selling their pottery at 350 Main Street. The Copper Corridor Mobile Visitor Center will also be on display during the event. In addition to all of those great activities and attractions

you can also hear live music being played throughout the day at Besich Park and the Magma Club, learn how to make and play a digeradoo and taste chocolate at Porters Café with Mary Josephs the “Choco-late Lady.” The Home and Building Tour, Art and Antique show along with all the other scheduled events will be held this week-end Saturday, Jan. 28, and Sun-day, Jan. 29. Saturday the self guided tours and exhibits run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Editor, Copper Basin News: The past couple of months, my family and I have had the pleasure of watching our school’s various basketball teams compete, and I have to say we enjoyed every minute of it. I don’t know if most people here realize it, but, this year we have eight basketball teams! We have boys and girls junior varsity, varsity and we

also have boys and girls seventh and eighth grade teams. Not too bad for our little school. The kids seems to be learning a lot, improving every week, and most importantly, having fun. I commend all the respective coaches: you are all doing a great job and we thank you for taking the time, your time, to provide this opportunity for our kids. As of this writing, the seventh grade boys are

6-0, the boys JV has lost only one game, and both the boys and girls Varsity teams recently won first place in the Christmas tournament. All the teams are doing very well, and they are just downright fun to watch. I would like to invite everyone to come watch these great kids, who give a lot of themselves every week to participate in this sport. At both the Jr. High and High School, there

By Mila Lira As 2011 came to an end, the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission (AIRC) put the final touches of the redistricting maps for the Congressional and State Legislative districts. The AIRC officially adopted its maps on Jan. 17, 2012. For the communities within the Copper Corridor, there were minimal changes to the congressional district but, at the state legislative level, the corridor remains intact but is now in a district with San Tan Valley and the Globe-Miami area. Copper Corridor communities will remain in Congressional District 1 (CD1) along with Pinal County neighbors Casa Grande, Coolidge and Eloy. Pinal County communities of Florence, San Tan Valley and Apache Junction will move into Congressional District 4 for the 2012 election cycle. The changes in the districts were due to the 2010 census which required

Arizona to redistrict their congressional districts due to the population increases throughout the state. CD1 remains a rural district and represents many of Arizona’s mining, ranching and farming communities as well as many of the Native American Indian Nations; currently Congressman Paul Gosar is representing CD1 but announced that he will run for the congressional seat in District 4 for the Republican nomination against Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu. Democrat Ann Kirkpatrick who was defeated by Gosar in 2010 for the CD1 seat has announced that she will run for CD1 for the democratic nomination. Kirkpatrick was a strong supporter of Resolution Copper and Southeast Arizona Land Exchange, a bill and introduced the bill during the 2010 Congressional session. At the state level, new legislative districts also had to be redrawn. Copper

Corridor communities have now all moved from State Legislative District 23 to District 8. The communities in District 8 are from Gila and Pinal counties and include: San Tan Valley, Sacaton, Eloy, Randolph, Coolidge, Florence, Queen Valley and a small part of eastern Casa Grande along with all of the Copper Corridor communities, Oracle, Mammoth, San Manuel, Dudleyville, Hayden, Winkelman, Kearny, Globe, Miami and Superior. There have been no official announcements of candidates running for the District 8 positions. The Pinal County Supervisors approved and submitted their map to the Department of Justice in October. The Copper Corridor remains in District One and adds Florence, Coolidge and part of Eloy. SaddleBrooke will be moved into the newly formed District 4 which will also include Marana, Maricopa and areas south of Eloy.
