IEEE Region 6 2015 Training 1/25: CLP: How We Did It
What we are doing and why
• CLP is a result of SCV Section’s Corporate Relationship Initiative.
• Goal is to have a formalized way to build relationships with our corporate citizens.– vs. ad-hoc or nothing at all– The intent is a Long Term effort!
• My tenure as CS Chapter Chair alerted me to the difficulty of find meeting venues.
• We recognized this as a wider issue and an ongoing need.
IEEE Region 6 2015 Training 1/25: CLP: How We Did It

IEEE Region 6 2015 Training 1/25: CLP: How We Did It
Challenges
• Many are just contacts, not committed, long term liaisons.
• Many/most are not well connected in co. as we hoped.
• Attendance: due to travel and meetings highly encourage alternates!
• Finding compelling collaborations to report that will have wide interest.
