Band News May is the month of Band trips and concerts!
The Junior Band is off to a super fun Band Camp at Camp Kinisao on May 10 and 11! The Intermediate and Senior Bands are travelling to the University of Saskatchewan in
Saskatoon, and will be gone May 16 and 17. All Band students (Junior, Intermediate and Senior) will be performing in the Mass Band Concert at
Carlton on Tuesday, May 29 at 7:00 pm. Please mark your calendars for this awesome Band concert and plan to attend!
Hot Lunch for May will be a Hot Dog Sale for the
Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run.
The sale will be on Thursday May 17th. Order forms will be due on Thursday May 10th.
The hot dog sale is part of the Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run to raise money for Special Olympics.
The Torch Run itself will be on Thursday June 14th and participants from Prince Albert Law Enforcement will run by our school and acknowledge the money that we have helped raise.
Super Family Literacy Evening
Thursday May 31st
We will have hot dogs, veggie dogs and ice cream from 5-6:30pm and
activities from 5-7:30pm
The Family Literacy Evening is a free family event.
This evening includes themed stations such as Mask Making, Word Twister, Gi-
ant Tarp Game, Bowling, and more!
Super Hero fun for the whole family playing with reading and writing!

Mrs. Hamilton has forms in her Pre-K classroom or stop by the office any time to pick some up.

Join Us for an Overview on the CNIB Foundation Programs and Vision Loss Rehabilitation Services
When: Tuesday, May 8, 2018 Time: 6:00 pm Where: #1-2689 2nd Ave W (South Hill Medical Centre) Cost: Free
Presenters: Mindy Bodnarchuk the Child & Family Services Counsellor for Vision Loss Rehabilitation Saskatchewan will detail the services available to students who are blind and partially sighted and their families. As well as, guide participants through the referral process.
Ashley Hay the Program Lead, Community Engagement for CNIB will present on the CNIB Foundation Programs available for students and families, which include: Beyond the Classroom, Youth Leadership, Family Fun Days, and the Camp Program.
Teachers, parents, educational assistants, resource consultants, superintendents, community resources will benefit by attending this session.
Building the habit of good attendance early can help our children achieve their
dreams!
