• 2011 Games Worked– 2011 Season, Provided Referees for– 551 Games worked between 1 Feb and 1 May.= 183.6666 games per month average= 6.1222 games per day, (30 day per month) average – Each game required a minimum for two referees,
FHSAA and SMA Varsity required 3 referees per game.

2012 TBLOA Member In Good Standing Requirements:
• Current Members: dues paid prior to 7 Jan 2012 $50: ( $35 plus $15 fine fee ***)
• Dues received after 8 Jan 2012 will incur an addition $15 fine = $65
• New Adult Members: $50: ($35 plus $15 for fine fee)
• Junior Member no charge first year: cost $35 flat fee second year. – *** (Fine fee to be returned if no fine charged)

USL Level One Class Information Updated after Meeting
• Class Size 5 Minimum – 15 Max per class• Cost $50, includes all materials plus 1 Flag and 1 Fox
40 Figure Grip Whistle • Class Starts at 9 AM Sharp be there at least 15
minutes early to receive books, sign up etc. • Written Test to be handed in within 2 weeks of class.
Open Book, requires score of 80%.

2012 Game Pay Rates (Unchanged from 2011 ) For FHSAA & FGC League
• Rates 2012: Per FHSAA Officials Hand Book plus $20 Travel Fee, first game only.
• Games 2012: Varsity and JV – Varsity: Three Man, $48 plus $20 = $68– Varsity : Two Man, $53 plus $20 = $73– JV: Two man; $ 45 plus $ 20 = $65

Referee Restrictions for Working FHSAA Games
• ADDED BASED ON MEETING DISCUSSIONS “Bias”• HS FHSAA: District 15– Members of the TBLOA will not work FHSAA games if
they have any immediate family / relatives playing for District 15 Teams.
– Additionally, if they played or Coached for one of these Teams they can not Referee in the FHSAA District 15 until four years have past since they graduated or stopped Coaching.

Florida Gulf Coast Referee Restrictions
• ADDED BASED ON MEETING DISCUSSIONS “Bias”• HS and MS Leagues: Florida Gulf Coast
– Members of the TBLOA will not work FGC Division specific games if they have any immediate family / relatives playing in that Division.
– However, they can work games in the other divisions which do not involve playing teams from the divisions referenced above.
– Additionally, if they played for or Coached within a specific division they cannot Referee for that School or within that Division until four years have past since they graduated or stopped Coaching.

TBLOA SCHEDULING RULES$10 Fines for Turned Back Games
• ADDED BASED ON MEETING DISCUSSIONS• Based on 2011 issues with scheduling the following
is effective immediately. • ACTION: All members are required to keep their
ARBITER availability calendar up to date. • If assigned games are turned back for dates showing
you were available a $10 fine will be issued per game. Payment required prior to additional games being assigned.
• Grievances for emergencies will be reviewed.
