will be December 2nd.

December 1 is the admission deadline for freshman scholarship consideration to the University of Southern Mississippi.

Any student seeking freshman scholarship consideration from Southern Miss must be offered admission on or before December 1. Our academic scholarships are available to students with a 21 ACT or higher with a 3.0 core GPA, with annual amounts ranging from $2,500 to full tuition.

A complete application consists of payment of the $40 application fee, submission of ACT or SAT scores, and submission of the student's transcript.
