4 Parental Controls

● MiiverseRestricts users from viewing orposting content on Miiverse. Whenset to Restrict Posting,screenshots, text, and handwrittenmessages cannot be posted. Whenset to Restrict Viewing andPosting, screenshots, text, andhandwritten messages cannot beposted or viewed.

5 Saving and Erasing Data

This game has one save file. Yourprogress is saved automaticallywhenever you clear a stage or exitthe shop.

♦ Once erased, data cannot berecovered, so please be careful.

To delete your current save data,launch the software, wait for theNintendo 3DS logo to disappear,and then press and hold , , ,and simultaneously until amessage window appears. Once itappears, you will have a chance toconfirm that you want to eraseyour save data.

Any costumes you obtained whileplaying the previous title,BOXBOY!™, will be available to youin this game if that data is stil lsaved to your system. You can findthose costumes in the shop (page8).

Guide Qbby through the goal doorat the end of a stage to completeit. If you need a reminder about thein-game controls, select Controlsor Techniques from the pausemenu to view a detailed controlguide.

These graphics are here to remindyou that you can instantly restartfrom the last checkpoint bypressing + simultaneously.

Quick-restart reminder

Shows how many sets of boxesyou can create at one time andthe number of boxes allowed ineach set.

Creation info

The number of boxes you cancreate before the crownsdisappear. A will be displayedevery time you obtain a crown.Collecting all the crowns in astage will earn you a perfect clear.

Progress info

This button changes from gray toblack when a hint about how toproceed is available. When it isblack, you can tap it to proceedto a new screen and then spend aPlay Coin to view the current hint.Play Coins are obtained bycarrying your system with you inSleep Mode as you walk around.

Once you've placed two sets ofboxes, the first box or set will fade
