Coordinated Plan Solicitation: August 28 through October 24 Federal Funding Available: $5.07 million. Matching Funds required (20% capital; 50%

operating)

• Outreach Notice to about 1,200 organizations Four pre-application conferences

1. Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind: Audible maps of key Metrorail stations for people with visual impairments

Fairfax County will lead a multi-jurisdictional effort to increase local collaboration and coordinate services; and train neighborhood groups to provide travel support. Incudes Arlington, Fairfax and Loudoun Counties, and the City of Alexandria

rollDC fleet; taxis are available to the general public with priority to customers in wheelchairs
