Notes: (i) All participants must complete and submit their Travel Checklist. (ii) Airport-‐hotel transfer will be provided for official hotels. Transfer times will be arranged accordingly based on
the travel information provided by the participating team to XXW. (iii) Participating teams will be requested to confirm their departure plans with XXW before arrival. Should
participants be extending their stay in Singapore, XXW could only try to assist with the extension of the stay. All additional expenses incurred shall be borne by the participant/s.

Notes: (i) Participants for individual events are prohibited from competing outside their age category. (ii) Group Events are not segregated by gender. The respective age category is determined by the average age of the
competing group. (iii) Group Events are restricted to a minimum of six to a maximum of ten competitors per group. Groups exceeding
the limit will be barred from the event. One point will be penalized for team below the minimum. 5. Competition Methods
5.1. All Judges and referees are of International-‐level professionals to ensure an inherently fair and
unbiased competing environment.
5.2. Wushu routines shall be in accordance with the “Regulations of Wushu Competition Routine, 1991” and the “Competition Method of Traditional Wushu Taolu Competition, 2012” endorsed by the Chinese Wushu Association.
5.3. There are no specific regulations for apparels, but appropriate costume is compulsory.
5.4. Participants must bring their own weapons for the Competition.
5.5. For events with less than three competitors, participants for the said event will be transferred to
compete in “Other Event” within the same age group.
5.6. Time limit 5.6.1. Bare handed and apparatus routine shall be within two minutes. 5.6.2. TaiJi Quan routine shall be within six minutes (A reminder whistle will be given five
minutes into the routine). 5.6.3. TaiJi Weapon routine shall be within four minutes (A reminder whistle will be given three
minutes into the routine). 5.6.4. Group Quan Shu and Group TaiJi Quan routine shall be within six minutes. Routine must be
accompanied by music. (Background music shall be provided by the team captain/coach of each competing group in the form of a CD. Music provided should be in MP3 format. Copyrighted contents are strictly restricted)
5.6.5. Group Apparatus routine shall be within four minutes. Routine must be accompanied by music. (Background music shall be provided by the team captain/coach of each competing group in the form of a CD. Music provided should be in MP3 format. Copyrighted contents are strictly prohibited)
* 0.1 points will be deducted for every two seconds exceeded from the time limit for the Individual events and five seconds exceeded for the Group events
6. Winners and Awards
6.1. Individual Events: Winners will be recognized in every event for both male and female categories. 1st
prize Winners (Top 30%) will be awarded the Gold Award -‐ Gold medal and certificate. 2nd prize Winners (Subsequent 30%) will be awarded the Silver Award -‐ Silver medal and certificate. 3rd prize Winners (Following 40%) will be awarded the Bronze Award – Broonze medal and certificate.
6.2. Team Events: Awarding methods will be similar to the individual event.
6.3. The minimum number of competitors for an event to be declared as a separate event will be set at 10 competitors.
7. Overall Team Awards The Overall Team Award is an award given to the best performing team. To qualify for the Overall Team Award, a minimum of 20 participants is required from the team.
Evaluating criteria are based on the total number of 1st prizes received within a team. If the total number of 1st prizes received is tied, then the number of 2nd and 3rd prizes received will be compared to select a winner. Incentives: Champion team will receives a cash bonus of SGD 2,000; 1st Runner-‐up will receive a cash bonus of SGD 1,000; 2nd Runner-‐up will receives a cash bonus of SGD 600. 8. Competition Fees
8.1. Standard fees: Registration fee: SGD 80 per person (Includes one Participant Kit) Competition fee: SGD 40 per person (Only applicable for competing athletes) 8.2. Lodgers (staying in official hotels) Package fees (Accommodation + Event): Standard Room: SGD 500 per person Deluxe Room: SGD 700 per person Package includes: (i) Four nights accommodation at designated hotels. (ii) Planned shuttle services for Arrival/Departure and to/fro competition venue. (iii) Event fees for three events -‐ two individual and one group event. Event entitlements are non-‐
interchangeable between participants. Additional events may still be applied for at a fee (SGD75/individual event; SGD45/person per group event).
(iv) Free Singapore city tour (details to be provided). Note: For every 20 lodgers in a team, the package fees for one participant shall be waived. However, said participant will still be subjected to the registration fee and/or the competition fee. 8.3. Non-‐lodgers: Fees payable: Participant will be subjected to the registration fee and/or competition fee. Note: Competitors are required to compete a minimum of two competing events, not restricted to individual or group 8.4. Local participants Registration fee: SGD 20 per person (Includes one Participant Kit) Competition fee: SGD 65 per person (Includes event fees for two events -‐ two individual or one Individual + one group event) Additional event fee: SGD 30 Group event fee: SGD 20 per pax

Application change or withdrawal Should a competitor wishes to withdraw, he/she would be required to submit a written application with all relevant documents attached within 10 days after the closing date. All fees excluding registration fees will be refunded in full if all criteria of withdrawal have been met. Should a participant wish to change any competition information after 10 September 2013, he/she shall do so with a written application signed by the coach. USD $10 for each contest changed shall be charged. 10. Instructions for travelling into Singapore Participants must apply for their travel documents with their local immigration authority, or assign a travel agent to apply on their behalf. Participants could also appoint XXW to apply on their behalf for a fee of SGD $70/person. XXW could assist participants with relevant information in obtaining visas and/or other travel related documents upon request. 11. 12. Appendix Waiver of Liabilities (“Participant”) hereby release Xin Xiu Wushu Pte Ltd and or related parties from any claims for loss, damage, or injury sustained while participating in the 2013 Singapore International Wushu Championship “Trail Blazer Cup”. Xin Xiu Wushu Pte Ltd does not maintain any liabilities insurance for protection of individuals, business entities, group, organizers, spectators, or others who may participate in the Competition or competition-‐related activities. In consideration of the participation of the Competition or any completion-‐related activities, the undersigned individual, business entity, group, organizer, spectator, or other, does hereby release and forever discharge Xin Xiu Wushu Pte Ltd, and its officers, directors, agents, and employees, joint and severally, from any and all actions, cause of actions, claims and demands for, upon, or by reason of any damage, loss or injury, of any kind of or nature, which may be sustained by participating in the competition. I fully understand that all medical attention or treatment afforded to me by the Organizing Committee its officers, representatives, volunteers, and all other related members will be of the first aid only, and hereby release the Organizing Committee its officers, representatives, volunteers, and all other related members from any liability for such aid. I understand it is my obligation to obtain medical coverage. The Liabilitiy Release extends, applies to, covers, and includes, all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated and unsuspected injuries, damages, losses, and liabilities and the consequence thereof, as well as those now disclosed and known to exist. Participant hereby agrees, on behalf of his or her heirs, personal officers, agents, representatives and assignees, to indemnify Xin Xiu Wushu Pte Ltd and its officers, directors, agents, and employees, joint and severally, from any and all actions, cause of actions, claims and demands for, upon, or by reason of any damage, loss or injury, of any kind of or nature, which may be sustained by participating in the competition. It is further understood and agreed that participant in the Competition is not to be construed as an admission of liability or acceptance or assumption of liabilities by Xin Xiu Wushu Pte Ltd and its officers, directors, agents, and employees, become liable as a result of any alleged act of the participant. Participant will abide by and follow the Rules established by the Organizing Committee. Participant agrees that his or her performance, attendance, and participation at the 2013 Singapore International Wushu Championship “Trail Blazer Cup” may be filmed or otherwise recorded or released or telecast live. Participant consent to allow the Organizing Committee use of my name, address, voices, poses, pictures and biographical data concerning full or parts as well as any other participant data that has been submitted along with the application, in any form or language, with or without other material, throughout the world, without limitation, for television, radio, video, theatrical medium picture, or any other medium by any devices now known or hereafter devised and I do hereby Waive any compensation in regard thereof as well as any future rights to the aforementioned.
