Thenitwasdone.Theyearwasover.AndIwashome,walkingofftheplaneandintothearmsofawaiting
Susan.Thetearswerereal.Thewelcomeandtheembracepriceless.Therearesomethingsmoneycantbuy.The
embraceoflove. Isawitoftenlastweekandalreadyagainthisweek.Peopledie.Andlovestepsin.Familyandfriends
embracecryandcelebratethedifferencefaithmakesinthemoment.Mealsaredelivered.Errandsarerun.Staffisorchestrating.Volunteersareserving.Anditstheembraceofthechurchnotonce,butover&overagain. Fromthededicatedcommitmentofstaff,thesupportofelders,thegiftofthosewhoprepareameal,tothekindnessofthepeopleatSt.MarysandFirstUnitedMethodistChurch,MatthewsFuneralHome,theEdmondFireDepartment,andtheEdmondPoliceDepartment,the

ThePersonnelCommitteeandtheFCCBoardarepleasedtoannouncethatMark TaylorhasbeenhiredastheAssociate Minister of Student Ministries.MarkfirstcametoFirstChristianinDecember2008asaYouthMinistriesIntern.HewashiredfulltimeinAugust2009astheYouthAssistant&MediaSpecialist.Mark
hasaBAinYouthMinistryfromOklahomaChristianUniversity,andiscurrentlyworkingonhisMasterofDivinityfromPhillipsTheologicalSeminary.
MarkhasbeenrecentlycommissionedaministerintheChristianChurch(DisciplesofChrist).HeismarriedtoKaci,whoisgraduatingfromPharmacyschoolJune1andwillbeworkingattheOUMedicalCenter.TheirkidsareAnnabelle(dog),CallieandOlo(cats).
ThePersonnelCommitteeandtheFCCBoardarealsopleasedtoannouncethatJennifer HumphreyhasbeenhiredasthenewCommunications Coordinator.JenniferfirstjoinedtheFirstChristianstaffinAugust2010.Shestartedoutasapart-timeassistanttotheCommunications,YouthandChildrensMinistries.ShewasthenhiredfulltimeinAugust2011,astheCommunicationsAssistant.JenniferpreviouslyworkedasaCustomerService,BillingandTrainingManagerinthetelecommunicationsindustryfor15years.SheismarriedtoJohn,amusician,andhastwochildren-JaxonandJett-bothofwhomareactivelyinvolvedintheYouthandChildrensMinistries.
