8. Information for Spectators (first day of rally) We kindly insist you following spectators` areas prepared by organizers. Special zones are being pre-pared to ensure convenient parking as well as interesting spectating points.

By the way while looking for individual specatator areas you will face safety and time difficulties. Roadsides are pretty pitched around most of the stages. Meadows are not being shattered. So you will face parking problems as well. And so it might be quite a waist of time and a risk to miss the rally at all.

First day will consist of five special stages. Three of them will take place in Rokiškis surroundings, fo-urth and fifth – on the city streets in Rokiškis, near by the manor. More detailed information and recommen-ded spectator areas are presented together with each SS map.

9. Special stagesShake down

Special stage of length 4,33 km. Start of the stage is on 5th km going down the road from Rokiškis to Steponiai. When passing by the village you will see the start (turn to the left). Narrow path goes by wood stacks and other natural barriers down the forest. Poor visibility for sporstmen as well as for spectators. Unless you will use side roads from Steponiai village. Finish of the stage is located not far from motocross track.

SS/GR – 1 CBETSS/GR – 3 DOMUS AUTO

Special Stage length – 10,45 km Coordinates: Start N-55°59'26.2” , E-25°36'53.6" Finish N-56°02'22.2”, E-25°32'47.0” Special Stage closed 13:45 First car start SS/GR - 1 CBET – 14:45 First car start SS/GR - 3 DOMUS AUTO – 16:00 That is a brand new stage of average length. Pretty technical and consisting of several fast sections. This stage will be driven twice. Most convenient spectator areas would be at the beginning (at Bajorai village) and in the middle of the stage (at Miliūnai village). Last 3,5 km stretch through the forest. So due to dense forest environment finish will not be very convenient to watch. Recommendation no. 1 (coordinates: N-550-59`32.21``,E-25037`4.34) If walking down 200 m. from start of stage, good visibility of fast left turn. 50 m. further sharp turn to left on crossroad. Recommendation no. 2 (coodrinates: N-550-59`29.42``, E-25036`2.46``) After long straight road, sharp turn to the left on the crossroad. 30 km. furhter sharp turn to the right. Significat part of the stage is visible. Area conveniet to reach on foot from Ežero str. in Bajorai village. Recommendation no. 3 (coordinates: N-560-1`23.69``, E-25036`11.42``) At 5,7th km. from the start after straight road of length 900 m. – jump. Sharp turn to the left on the tarmac 150 km further. Sharp right turn 100 m. further. Place easy to reach on foot from Miliūnai village.

SS/GR – 2 TOYOTA Special Stage length – 12,73 km Coordinates: Start N-56°1'23.69", E-25°36'11.42" Finish N-55°59'2.48", E-25°43'14.93" Special Stage closed 17:15 First car start SS/GR - 2 TOYOTA – 15:25 Part of this stage was driven on last year`s „Samsonas Rally Rokiškis“. However, middle section is brand new and requires attention and concentration. The stage is narrow gravel road with few vast and fast gravel sections. Good places to watch it are located just a little bit further from the start or finish. As well as from some side roads. Recommendation no.1 (coordinates: N-5502`41.45``,E-25039`31.97``) Great visibility of long group of fast turns in a hilly area 200 m. further from the start. Good to watch from a hill. Recommendation no.2 (coordinates: N-5601`47.02``,E-25038`2.36``) Very sharp turn to the left in Vyžuona village, 2,5 km. from the start. Tarmac changes into gravel here. A conveniet place to watch few fast turns if walking few hundred metres towards the start from this crossroad. Recommendation no.3 (coordinates: N-55059`2.48``,E-25043`14.93``) Fast left turn and right turn to a vast gravel road (50 m. further) if walking from the finish few hundred meters.

SS/GR – 4 ROKIŠKIO SŪRISSS/GR – 5 ROKIŠKIO GRAND

The shortest stage. It will close the first day of rally. Main accents – tarmac, stage carried out on a principle of carousel and artificial jump in spectator area A. This stage will be driven twice on a principle of carousel. So spectators will have a chance to watch it continuously for even few hours. We recommend choosing spectator area A next to the gates to Rokiškis manor. Live broadcast of the stage will be shown in a huge LED screen. Reaching this area on foot is recommended. Parking on Laisvės or Pievų str. available.

10. Information for Spectators (second day of rally) Second day of rally is really fast, long and interesting. Those spectators who will plan their day in advance will be the most rational.

The best choice would be special spectator areas of course. They are located so it would be easy to reach and interesting to watch. Places are selected really professionally as the event is organized by experien-ced sportsmen. Those people know well places tough for racers and interesting for spectators. One of these special places – the Big Jump of Vaidotas Žala.

More detailed information and recommended spectator areas are presented together with each SS map.

11. Special stagesSS/GR – 6 VALVOLINESS/GR – 8 ANDRUM

Special Stage length– 18,18 km Coordinates: Start N-55°53'31.9", E-25°48'58.3" Finish N-55°51'13.0", E-25°42'50.8" Special Stage closed 8:55 First car start SS/GR - 6 VALVOLINE – 9:55 First car start SS/GR - 8 ANDRUM – 12:25 The longest stage of this years “Samsonas Rally Rokiškis“. First part of stage is known from the last year. Second part is brand new. Stage consists of a lot of tricky turns, some fast sections and jumps. Spectator area B (coordinates: N-55053`59.67``,E-25042`54.78``) Long straight section starting from Bagdoniškis village is followed by fast right turn merging a tricky jump and in 150 m. sharp left turn. Easy to reach by car from Rudeliai and Audronys I villages. Sportsmen will „fly by“ this area twice.

SS/GR – 7 GEALANSS/GR – 9 TRYGG

Special Stage length – 13,76 km Coordinates: Start N-55°46'35.4”, E-25°39'53.6" Finish N-55°49'31.8", E-25°38'24.7" Special Stage closed 09:30 First car start SS/GR - 7 GEALAN – 10:30 First car start SS/GR - 9 TRYGG – 13:00 Brand new stage. Mainly gravel road consisting of different groups of turns and few jumps. Stage is driven twice. Easy to reach from side roads. Recommendation no.1 (coordinates: N-55047`34.99``,E-25036`37.85``) Good visibility of S shape turns 8,6 km. from the start. Possible to reach from the side of Kamajai – Južintai road. Recommendation no.2 (coordinates: N-55048`50.06``,E-25036`26.02``) 2 jumps on a narrow straight road 11,5 km. from the start. One is a big jump. Reachable from Laibgaliai – Jūžintai road.

SS/GR – 10 VALVOLINESS/GR – 12 FREMAX

Special Stage length – 6,06 km Coordinates: Start N-55°58'12.7", E-25°52'27.8” Finish N-55°59'36.6", E-25°53'37.0" Special Stage closed 14:30 First car start SS/GR - 10 VALVOLINE – 15:30 First car start SS/GR - 12 FREMAX – 16:50 It is the most famous Special Stage of Samsonas Rally Rokiškis with a spectacular jump at the beginning of the Stage! This year the configuration of Special Stage is a bit changed by making it shorter and from the middle of the Stage the road is directed to narrow gravel road with many turns. This Special Stage will be driven two times by all rally cars. For spectators we recommend to choose for watching the Public Area C, where you can watch spectacular rally car jumps all the time on the “Big Jump of Vaidotas Žala”. To the Public Area C it is possible to drive by car choosing a side road which goes through Trumpiškiai village. Also we want to warn all spectators who will decide to drive through this road to Public Area C when the Special Stage is already started that for 800m distance starting from the road Obeliai-Subate the speed limit will be 20 km/h and it will be su-pervised by police officers. This speed limit is made due to avoid the traffic jam as at the same time on the same road rally cars will be passing through from the Special Stage finish. We recommend to drive to the Public Area C before the Special Stage start and to avoid possible traffic jam.

SS/GR – 11 ROKAUTA / SB LIZINGASSS/GR – 13 SAMSONAS MOTORSPORT

Special Stage length – 12,70 km Coordinates: Start N-55°55'26.4", E-25°54'51.8" Finish N-55°56'27.2", E-25°51'51.8" Special Stage closed 15:05 First car start SS/GR – 11 ROKAUTA / SB LIZINGAS – 16:05 First car start SS/GR - 13 SAMSONAS MOTORSPORT – 17:25 Quite fast and winding stage on narrow gravel roads. Sportsmen reach high speed on few vast sections. Part of the stage was used in 2017 „Samsonas Rally Rokiškis“. Stage will be driven twice. Status of „Power Stage“ is provided when stage is driven for second time. This status will grant fastest sportsmen with additional points in Automobile Rally Championship of Lithuania. This will also be the final stage of „Samsonas Rally Rokiškis“. Winners of rally will be determined after the stage. Most often last stage is full of intrigue and intense fights as well as mistakes of sportsmen as the stage may be fatal fro rally results. That makes it even more interesting. Recommendation No. 1 (coordinates: N-55054`28.65``,E-25055`6.21``) Group of narrow turns well visible approx. 5,5 km. from the start. Good to watch form the hill. No side roads. So if you wish to watch this section, you should arrive to the stage before it is closed (no later than 1 hour before start). Recommendation no. 2 (coordinates: N-55055`21.6``,E-26050`44.98``) Sharp turn right in a crossroad – 10,4 km. from the start, in Dideliškis village, 300 m. after straight road. Possibility to watch fast turn right if walking 300 m. towards the start. Easy to reach by car from Antanašė village.

12. Additional entertainment and concerts Live music concert will be held on 2nd of August at 21:30 in Nepriklausomybės square. From 22:30 up to midnight performance by DJ.

On 3rd of August at 22:00 concert of “69 danguje”. DJ performance after that.

Culmination of the event will be on 4th of August – prize giving and award ceremony next to the mu-seum of Rokiškis manor. Concert of „Čilinam“ donated by „SB Lizingas“ and firework and laser show after the ceremony up to 3 a.m.

Spectators will be offered with different additional entertainment during all the rally. You will have a unique chance to fly above the rally with a helicopter. Registration for the flight by email [email protected]

Rally taxi will also be waiting. You will have a possibility to feel what it`s like to be a co-driver and enjoy a ride with European champion Aurelijus Simaška (Mitsubishi Lancer EVO IX). Registration for a ride by email [email protected] or by phone +370 698 44 854.
