Precisely those fields requiring protection must be assigned to field groups. This means when a field has not been assigned to any field group, it will not be protected. The default is: no fields are assigned, all fields can be changed. Example: You assign field LFA1-BRSCH to field group 01. This means: Users without authorization F_LFA1_AEN for field group 01 can no longer change this field, but only display it. Users with authorization F_LFA1_AEN for field group 01 can change this field. However, if field LFA1-BRSCH is NOT assigned to ANY field group, all users can change this field. Please also read Note 393341 "Problems with the field control of the address fields". Solution Assign the fields requiring protection to field groups, and not vice versa.
