*The Process

Olivia presented us with the topic of “Peace and Justice”. The brief was to design an item of clothing, or an accessory, to portray an element of peace and justice.

Olivia taught us how to draw the model, and allowed us to experiment with whatever designs we wanted. This process carried on through a few of the sessions.

Although we were given the chance to experiment with whatever we wanted, there was one rule. The materials had to be up-cycled.

*The Making

This is Mia’s dress. She designed this dress herself. She cleverly thought of the peace sign detail within the dress, to portray an element of peace and justice.

*Our Wish For The Future……

We wish to hold a fashion show, by young people for the community. This will be to raise awareness and promote peace and justice. We would love to have people of all ages, sizes, gender, ethnicity, abilities, and from all walks of life to represent the true human race of today.
