The parade will take place on Saturday the 17th of March leaving from the Borris Road from 12pm sharp!
All floats taking part in the parade please be assembled no later than 11.30am on the Borris Road.
All walking groups to be assembled on the Fairgreen at 11.30am also. Floats can turn in Avonmore in Tinnahinch, however please note it will be closing shortly after the parade. All floats and walking groups please register on the Graiguenamanagh St Patricks Day Parade 2018 Facebook page or contact Therésé 0872756009 or Shane 0831772667.
The reviewing stand will be located on the square this year.
Anyone who is interested in helping out with the parade or being a steward on the day please contact us also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We need as many stewards as possible on the day to ensure a safe and successful St Patrick’s Day for all.

Jackie Tyrrell will share his experience of writing the much acclaimed autobiography, My Autobiography: The Warrior’s Code and his writing with The Irish Times.
Read and enjoy poetry by Duiske College Students about “The Spirit of Kilkenny” and “The Mind Behind the Game” inspired by writer Jackie Tyrrell and displayed on our “Poet-Tree”.
Also on display will be a “Words to Pictures” exhibition illustrating the trials and tribulations of an ageing dog in an Irish rural town, inspired by the poem “Doherty’s Dog” written by local poet Mr Pat McDonald.
From Poem to Song – hear the story of “Doherty’s Dog” as never heard before – in song!

For the next number of Wednesday nights at 8pm in The Outdoor ACTIVITIES HUB in the PITCH n Putt Area, we will be showing old videos and footage of Graig and its people. Some great memories such as the mass in Tinnahinch, the erection of the cross on Brandon and other events. Donations to the Hub, tea/coffee and refreshments throughout.
