To get a feel for what we are going to study this unit, you are going to fi lm a scene from one of the significant events of one of the starting six presidents.
You will be in a small group. Your director will read the scene aloud to you. Feel
free to underline key ideas on your own copy. As a group, you will then determine roles and prepare
a skit that follows the general guidelines. Before you choose costumes, you must show your
written plan for the skit to Mrs. Hoff er. (A general outline/plan will suffi ce.)
Be creative and have fun.And….. ACTION!
