predontod by tho Norwegian Govornmont to tho mooting of tho Council
of tho League of Mations hold in London on tho 20th, instant and
relating to tho situation ouusod by tho famine in Russia.
This proposal is sot out in tho onclosod document, and
in consoquonoe of tho fiisoussion upon it, tho Council adopted tho
following resolution:

task imposed by tho Council's résolution. Information is lortiou-

information upon any of tho abovo points, but in viow of tho
urgency of this question and of tho serious situation caused by
tho fiimino, tho Council regard it as of tho utmost importance
that no time should bo lock in prosonting this report. I vory
greatly hope, thoreforo, that you will soo your way to troat this
mattor as one of exceptional urgency, and to arrange for tho
information in tho possession of ycur Govornmont to bo collated
and forwarded to tho Secretariat in Geneva, oven if not completely
' classified, at tho oarlist possible moment, so that tho work of
preparation may be undertaken at onco.
